Yankees vs. Giants Game Highlights (6/2/24) | MLB Highlights

it’s some Sunday afternoon baseball today around Major League Baseball we celebrate Lou Garrick we celebrate his legacy and life and also ask you if you have the time and if you have the money to make a donation to try to end this Insidious disease on the hill today for the Giants will be the veteran left-hander Blake Snell 0 and3 with an ER in the 10 Yankees very familiar with Blake Snell bu’s ready Snell’s ready let’s do it here in San Francisco swing and a miss he struck him out with the big curveball ju soda Soto hitting 316 that batting average leads leads all American League hitters hit high in the air and deep into right field Matos is moving back mat near the warning track and this one is gone a home run into the deepest part of Oracle park for Juan stto near the 415t marker in right center field a huge Blast for stto and the Yankees are ahead one- nothing 19th first inning Home Run for the Yankees by far the most in based here’s Aaron judge as he’ll try and continue his weekend show and the pitch is lined over toward the right side of the infield through into right field base hit for judge judge is at first Flores holding him on rner goes the throw to Second it’s a stolen base for judge doing it all in this homecoming weekend swing and to miss another change up struck him out now there’s a Fly ball into Center coming in on it Fitzgerald makes the catch the Yankees get a run two hits and we go to the last of the first Cortez Jr already has a lead Cortez 29 years of age three and four record 3.30 erra and the o02 to Ramos Sidewinder and he’s down looking wisley is the only left-handed hitter in the Giants lineup today swing and a miss strike three nasty looking sweeper by Nester Cortez Jr former Flores 0 for four in the series as Flores lifts this pitch into shallow center field backing out on the grass the second baseman Torres he makes the catch soft pop out by Flores and Esther Cortez retires the Giants in order in the first inning DJ lameu leads off for the Yankees right-handed hitter lined in center field that is going to be a base hit in front of Fitzgerald a base hit for lame who was fourth since coming off the iil Andy swing he foul tempted is what he did starting the swing trying to check but the ball skipped off the bat into the glove of cassali two out walk trino go goes to first lameu to second curve there a high fly ball now in and to his left comes Ramos he’s got it the inning is over a hit and a walk two men left no runs one to nothing Yankees and here comes Jorge Solair wraps this one to left Solair with a Giants first hit and it’s a double and down goes MOS who continues his struggle runner at second with two away and here is Schmidt swing there’s a soft liner up the middle B headit just past the dive of vulpi the short stop and that will get the run home and Casey Schmidt gets the clutch hit for the Giants and it’s a tie game there’s a swing L drive base hit left center field Schmid around second heading for third it’s back to- back singles for the Giants as Fitzgerald reaches and the ending prolonged here for Cortez another Full Count at bat against Cortez here in the second and the payoff pitch swing and a popup shallow right field backpedaling on the grass is Torres he’s called off by stto and he makes the catch we go to the third and it’s 1-1 here in San Francisco that man Juan sto leading up one two got him swinging that was a slider and sto doesn’t happen very often but he chased Here Comes Aaron judge hit a single into right field in the first low and away it’s Ball fourth that one gets away from Cali allowing judge to go to Second Fitzgerald racing in now he slows down judge with his lead at second to left center field going back on the ball Fitzgerald he’s got room and he’ll make the catch gliding AC cross the Outfield grass 0 for two the walk to judge but they score Midway through the third one-1 tie between the Yankees and Giants Elliot Ramos heading in against nestar Cortez Jr Cortez throws Ramos it’s a high drive center field and pretty deep judge back at the wall he jumps and it’s gone Ramos a towering Fly ball that just wouldn’t come down his third home run of the year and it puts the Giants ahead two to one he really had work in that at bat and he did it in a two- strike count Anthony Rizzo left you bat one out in the fourth inning is called strike three got him with the curve five strikeouts for Snell swing and a miss strike three through the curve and he gets another strike out so he’s pitching well the Yankees are making him earn it one out here in the last of the fourth up comes Casey Schmidt is blasted down the left field line toward the corner it is gone straight down the line Casey Schmidt his second home run in as many days it’s three to one Giants in there called strike three there’s a four seamer at the knees swing and a miss strike three the cutter from Cortez it gets cassali to go around there’s the third out to end the fourth inning three to one Giants lead fifth inning hit shortly up the middle and there you have it a 29 game on Bay streak vulpi singles and a bunt Third Base side Snell Fields no Play What a smart play by stto picking up a bunch single new on here’s Aaron judge what can Aaron judge do to cap off a memorable weekend here at the bay low in the dirt a curveball they appealed at first and he went around according to Hunter W judge Strikes Out according to the first base umpire and Aron Boon is just shooting a look to Hunter over at first base big second out picked up by Blake Snell as judge questionably went around here’s John Carlos sted 0 for two ball four so Stanton with the walk to load the basis for Verdugo manager Bob Melvin along with trainer Dave gresner and pitching coach Brian Price seem to be something wrong with with Snell some indication of something wrong as he after he threw that last pitch so he’s going to lead the game having thrown 99 pitches big spot here for young Eric Miller who swinging a liner down the right field line that’s a base hit will go to the corner vuli scores from third sprinting from second is stto over over to third goes Stanton and Alex verdugos tied this baby up with a two-run double here’s a swing slow ground ball to short charged hard by Schmidt to throw to first and he got him outstanding play by Casey Schmidt but the Yankees have tied the game three to three last of the sixth inning giants three Yankees three Jorge Solair leads off against Santana shot to right and Solair has got his second hit BOS and a base hit here’s the Giants leadoff hitter Elliot Ramos who has Homer today he bat with the Bas is loaded and two away in the bottom of the six a 3-3 tie swing line driveing the left field and that is down base head one run is in racing around third monos is in and Elliot Ramos newly installed as the lead off man today anyway and he’s got a two- hit game and three runs battered in it’s 5 to3 Giants Sally 0 for two hit by a pitch in the six that go toward research as well it’s a fair ball nice play by lameu he fires over to first to get Cali for the second out yeah that was a really nice play I mean it’s enough to catch the ball going down the line but the to stop and throw against your body all the way across the field on target well here we go Camilo doval nine saves 10 chances 23 appearances and he is not pitched in this series so up the middle and through for basee hit good way for the Yankees to start against Deval lead off single and here is Anthony vuli that one is looped into right field it is a base hit it’s going to split the outfielders and go to the wall trino rounds third he’s coming home FY has a triple and an RBI and the Yankees are pulled to within one and now Juan SoDo is at the plate and Aaron judge is in the on Deck circle with one out in the top of the ninth inning the tying run 90 ft away let’s see if the Yankees can come up with a big hit here one oh driven deep to right field there it goes seea a monster two-run home run and the Yankees have come back to take a 65 lead Oh my he crushed that I don’t know what to say but this gets to be a little bit more fun every single day the Yankees are doing everything and Juan SoDo has done everything all year what a huge home run in a big ninth inning so far for the Yankees two home runs in the game for sto now it’s judge Carlos Stanton’s turn here in the top of the N 65 Yankees judge breaks for second pitches inside throw sails it to center field and judge is going to take off for third the inning unraveling for the Giants here in the top of the ninth judge is at third Yankees trying for more Insurance here against the Giants swinging a liner right center field near the wall yky watches it bounce over his head and clip off the wall it bounces over the wall and it’ll be a ground rule double judge touches home RBI for Stanton it’s 75 Yankees Yankees in front 7 to5 and Klay Holmes is on to try and close it out lined into Right Center judge will make the play and the Yankees sweep the Giants and the Yankees go seven and two on the west coast they go west young men and they dominate

  1. Yankees beat the Giants. Big Question. Why is the crowd sounding like there rooting for the Yankees? 🤔🤔

  2. Yo creo que Juan Soto es más portada ahora mismo por lo que creo que le daría la ventaja tras la carrera por el MVP

  3. Juan Soto is a super star. I like that he is not just an excellent hitter, but he celebrates his victories without arrogance, only real joy. It says a lot about him as a person.
I liked him before he joined the Yankees. Hope he stays in a Yankee uniform.
The super smack off of Camilo Doval was a missle. Bam!
That amazing homer may lose Camilo the closer role.

  4. Who is that announcer for SF? His voice kind of reminds me of the late great Vin Scully? It sounds so familiar.

  5. I heard that Fahran Zahdi told Casey Schmitt that as long as he hits a homerun, he will continue to be in the lineup

  6. Judge gotta Perform in the post season. We scene this act before. Jeter ain't Jeter cause the regular season. CAPTAIN CLUTCH.

  7. I had the honor of being there at Oracle park for the weekend. The 9th inning was the moment us Yankee fans lost it and went crazy in the stands! Soto and Judge were beasts!
