Marner won’t get extended what’s the point

  2. Relative-Tell119

Marner is literally another version of Mika in the postseason. Nice two way regular season player that folds in the playoffs. Toronto fans hate him as much as the doomers hate Mika after this postseason. We do not need another guy who is paid millions to not be a 16 game player

  3. Rangers soft as baby shit…

    Hey let’s get Mitch Marner!!!

  4. DrDrangleBrungis

“The Rangers acquire Marner. The Maple Leafs acquire Filip Chytil, Braden Schneider, Brennan Othmann and Brett Berard.”

    lol fuck no.

  5. Key-Tip-7521

Geez. He’s not a north/south player that scores from the slot. As well as he’s not a physical player. And he disappears in the playoffs.

    My answer is no

If that trade is available ….you have to take it. I love Schneider and think he is going to be a great defender in this league for a long time, but you just can’t turn down a 100 point winger for what essentially amounts to Schneider. Chytil is skating on borrowed time, 1 bad hit and he is no longer in the NHL. Ottmann hasn’t panned out and with our history of developing prospects….. likely never will, Berard is a maybe at this point ….looks good but has yet to make the show.

I would take this trade in a heartbeat and figure out the rest as it came along.

Nice the rangers will do this with cap space they don’t have and also magically find a top 4 d and 3c for free

Can we not link dumb ass sites

  8. mad-Manufacturer-166

They can go deposit that idea with Jimmy Hoffa

  9. Oh boy, if we’re this upset with Panarin or Zibanejad….let’s pay more for a guy who plays less physical than they do.

  10. meesterstanks

The only way I’d even consider a trade here is Mika/Panarin for Marner.. old school 1 for 1 hockey trade.. literally anything else is an absolute no go

  11. Envelopen

I think anyone that follows hockey knows this is the exact opposite of what we need, sather thankfully doesnt run the show, i anticipate drury to continue building draft picks from within, im very pleased to see how steadfast he is with not only pursuing to develop them but retain them, he has me wondering if kakko has some hidden potential we can unlock with the way he praises him

  12. This is the part where we throw our heads back and laugh.

    Ready?

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

No thank you T.O. We already have an $11M non-playoff performer. We don’t need a second one.

  13. WorkoutMan885

    Panarin for Marner.

Two no shows in the big playoff games. Maybe Marner wakes up with a new team though.

  14. TinyExit37

The last thing the rangers need is another soft non playoff performer

  15. Nope. We already have 2 stars who disappear in the playoffs already.

  16. SmokyMetal060

Absolutely not. We have enough soft players on this team. We don’t need another one.

  17. Wesley__Willis

Carmela: The New York Rangers have acquired Mitch Marner for Filip Chytil, Braden Schneider, Brennan Othmann, and Brett Bedard.

Tony: You’re kidding. I mean, Jesus Christ.

  18. Minimum_Location9742

The last player the rangers need is Mitch Marner….

  19. mbsmilford

If Drury comes close to going they deal I’m done following this team. Marner who had to be reminded this isn’t junior hockey anymore. Not even for used pucks.

  20. Why would we add another person who disappears in the playoffs?

  21. CapriciousnArbitrary

Shows you what the league and others think of Schneider. Please do not trade Schneider.

  22. TheCrustyIncellious

As great as he is, he is the exact type of player you DONT want when playoffs roll around

  23. Clear_Willow3379

Dude is as soft as a marshmellow, so no.
