Id be all about this , the exact type of guy we need . Gonna be pricey , doable but pricey . Were gonna really be leaning on our young prospects in the bottom 6 to have a big season if we pick up one of the marquis guys .

Great Video, as usual, Evan. I think that this would be very interesting, but, isn't his Age a factor, as to how much really he can contribute to the team. I'd like to see younger players that don't make much of A Salary Cap Hit, but, also, will be able to produce. It's looking, so much more, as if, especially in Peter Laviollette – Head Coach, Barclay Goodrow on the Top Line, with Zibanejad/Kreider. Let me know what you think.
Don't you think that one of the Carolina Hurricanes Players (Necas) or more would be a better choice? I think that we need to get these guys who're good to becoming great. He's a guy that drops the gloves if he has to and gets in the dirty area's of the ice, he may be pricey but hay me personally I'd take a chance on him with a 3 yr contract for say $ 5 million a yr and $15 million over all contract, so yes I'd jump on marchessault it couldn't hurt and he won a Stanley cup with Vegas.

How is another small skill player going to help a team that needs more grit and toughness. The Rangers have skill, that is not their weakness. In 94, we traded guys like Amonte and Gartner to add grit, and won a cup. Gartner was already a star, Amonte was a star on the rise.

I don’t see the rangers making any big signing this year with Igor and lafrenier being free agents next year. Maybe a guy like tafolli or duclair to play on the top line rw, but guentzel or anyone they’d have to pay 8-10 million a year is out of the question.
hes 33, he is turning 34 in december. i think getting him will be an improvement in the playoffs, because thats what the Rangers need. He should cost between 6-7 million a year with his new contract. The Rangers should not pass on him
