To many embellishments and head snapping back in the nhl and these refs are trying to do something about it. This however shouldn't of been embellishment. If he wants to stay layed down on the ice and take him self out of the play that should be punishment enough.

i think the reason he got called was because he stayed down for a little too long, otherwise this is not embellishment

From the first camera, it didn't look like embellishment.
From the second camera, it did look like it a bit.
However, there is absolutely no discussion possible if Hyman doesn't crosscheck Marchand with his stick like that.
