So now we’re set and look towards the draft. Can’t complain much, happy with Keefe hiring and I like seeing what the AHL coaches can do in an assistant role. Questionable on the goalie coach being kept but complete collapses of play can’t be on the coach entirely when it looks like a mental thing.
Don’t know much about him but he adds to the handsome quota on this team (couldn’t resist).

I think in regards to the Dave Rogalsky situation people have to chill out. Yes, you absolutely want more out of the goalies, but he has been given very little work with. VVs ceiling is league average and he produced just that just a year ago. Schmid is not a high end talent. Daws is not a high end talent. They should have been getting reps in the AHL. The organization as a whole should be blamed for the poor goaltending, not one dude.
Hell, even guys like Eric Comrie have come in a praised rogalsky on the way out. Maybe give him so talent..

It feels like as long as Brodeur is around, Rogalski will always be safe. I love Marty, but having job security like this given the track record with the Devils’ goalie carousel doesn’t pass the smell test.
I would’ve preferred Mcgill be gone as well given how bad the defense was last season.
