I hope that Eiserman answer was taken out of context or something because, while he’s not wrong, it definitely doesn’t come across very well compared to the answers of the others.
The more I look into Catton the more I like him as a potential high-end scorer. I know the best NHL teams are often quite big, and Catton would add another smaller player to the Habs core (Caufield, Hutson, Gally for now, Newhook I guess because he’s technically below average at 5’11), but man he is smart, a hard worker, and is one of the most skilled here.
That said, Lindstrom is probably still my pick even if there are worries he never becomes better than a 2C. He’s just the kind of guy every single team in the league wants no matter the team build.

**Lindstrom**: “I think I play differently than other players. I play with a lot of passion and emotion, and I think that sets me apart. There are a lot of things that motivate me to succeed, and I feel that gives me something different on the ice. I play with more heart than other players. I play with speed and skill, and I like to get better every day and compete with the best in the world.”
**Catton**: “I think my intelligence separates me from the rest. I look at guys like Jack Hughes or Patrick Kane and they stand out so much for their intelligence on the ice. They obviously need good skills to make plays, but when you put smart players together, it’s a very dangerous combo. That’s what wins championships. I also consider myself a leader because I come to the arena and want to be the hardest-working player every day. I’m also very adaptable. In the NHL, I think I’ll be able to get into a room, learn from the best players and grow.”
**Eiserman**: “I score a lot of goals and you have to score goals to win.”
**Iginla**: “I have a good skill base coupled with a good work ethic. I work hard every day and I believe I can still improve in many aspects of my game. In a few years, I hope to be a much different player than I am today.”

Wish we could hear some thoughts from that Demidov guy as well. Because right now he’s almost like a mythical figure.
