Henrique boarding on Oliver Ekman-Larsson – Tough Call Recommendation
Adam Henrique was trying to finish his check cleanly, but he didn’t get around enough to have it be from the side. As a result he drove Oliver Ekman-Larsson face first into the boards from behind.
I was gonna say refs were blind but there were a ton of things they saw and didn’t call. Like Kane skating up behind Tkachuck to drive by hit him in the face with the butt end of his stick, while a referee sees it and goes to give him a slap on the hand
Sorry..but when Henrique had him lined up for the hit, OEL’s right side was facing him. When OEL backhanded the puck along the boards his back turned to Henrique.

I can kind of see how the referee missed it from his angle, but that's definitely a board.
