  1. I don’t buy all this hate for demidov, his competition sure, it was weaker than a lot of other leagues, but he did thee most possible against that competition, from watching games he just simply looks leagues more talented than anyone else I’ve seen in Russia, and players like Nikita Kucherov put up WORSE numbers against the MHL competition, so realistically it’s like, sure the league is not very good, but he is by far the best player in that league so I don’t see the reason for pulling him down for it

  2. This is the stage of Russia delusion we're at now according to some…we're down to Catton is better than Demidov. 😄

  3. It looks that Demidov might be available to Montreal. Then, out of the blue as for Michkov last year, now we have executives which start talking ,(anonymously) negatively about Demidov. Quite a coincidence !!!

  4. Why would Montreal pick demidov if he and other top defensemen are available ? It would go against their theory of always drafting the best available player .

So let me get that straight? Michkov outscores and outplays Connor bedard at the U18 but Montreal goes for a defensive 2nd pairing defenseman in Reinbacher and a year later they would pick Demidov over Silayev, Davidson or Parekh? If Montreal pick demidov with any of the defensemen that I mentioned available, that would make that Reinbacher pick look retarded! Doesn’t make any sense

  5. I think at this point into the rebuild Montreal can't take big swings like Eiserman or Demidov. It risks us just being in the middle for a long long time. I think Montreal should consider going after Berkley Catton. He's a proven offensive star forward with plenty of upside and not much risk. I see some McTavish vibes with him honestly and wouldn't mind if they took him. I think there's 2 routes for him. He becomes that bread and butter 90 point center like a Stuz or he becomes a 70-85 point player like Suzuki. I think he just is the best fit as we need talented top 6 forwards while also not providing much risk.

  6. I saw a recent ranking where Tij Iginla is ranked 5th. 2-11 is very close. I am hoping we trade up our second first pick and move up.

  7. Are they dismissing Demidov because he's Russian and we all know what's going on in the world. Or has Demidov actually dropped for real? I don't know but it would be interesting if someone knows honestly what's going on with Demidov. I get the feeling some of the world's biases are coming out in other ways. Just take the best player, I don't care where he comes from just get an honest opinion not a colored picture.

  8. Yes the MHL sucks, which is why you dont compare him to other MHL players, but rather to other NHLers who played in the MHL. And Demidov has numbers like Kucherov posted. So

  9. There's a few combine interviews on FloHockey's youtube chan and I've haven't watched all of them, but i must say i was quite positively surprised with Sennecke's answers. Kid is poised and confident but not arrogant at all, has some subtle sense of humor, gave interesting answers to some fairly boring questions, seem to think team before himself and has great lucidity to what he is now, what he's gone through and what remains to be done to get to further levels and ultimately reach what he wants to be as an NHLer. I was already quite fond of that kid and what he brought to his team this season, i'm now even more interested as to what caliber of a player he can become.
With the Habs maybe ? …

  10. I'm of the belief that you can never have too much talented big guys in the lineup so for me the rankings I've got in my head at the moment are Demidov > Lindstrom > Sennecke = Iginla. We come away with any of those guys and I'm happy as a clam. Demidov isn't big but the talent seems to be off the charts so worth going on the smaller side but he's the only guy under 6 feet tall I'd take with the 5th pick. I'd much rather be a team of mostly big guys with a few very talented small guys over a team of very talented small guys with a few big guys sprinkled in.

  11. Beckett Senneke all day long 🙏 please ❤…
Kasper Kasius sorry we already have a KK failure 😅…
Journal Du QC LOL skip a few min forward, French Canadians taking things out of context 😅 how dare you 😅 never 😂

  12. I feel like Michkov 2.0 all over again! Dans wanted him so bad and were pissed we d do isn’t pick him! Then enter Demidov! The guy is said by some to be better than Michkov, broke Kuchervs record playing on the same Russian league! And next best thing to come from there since Ovi! Suddenly people are second guessing as the draft draws near? Cmon we have no “ ELITE” talent! If we pass on this guy and take a dman, omg I’ll be pissed! Watch the highlife videos with Demidov! His skating is fine! The guy can turn on a dime and stick handle in a phone booth! He’s got to be our guy if he’s there at 5! Enough said!

  13. That is not at all what Eiserman said at the combine. I don’t know about this interview with J de Q, but he gave a multitude of other interviews where he talked about his weaknesses and improving other aspects of his game. A number of scouts have also talked about how his efforts to be better defensively was evident in his game last year.

  14. No wonder nobody wants to play in Montreal it’s been a year and people are still hating on that reinbacher pick maybe in the future nobody will want to get pick by Montreal I’m a habs fan btw

  15. Josh, you have a great channel! I like your energy and analysis – keep up the great work!
