The Canucks roster as it is needs another top 6. They’re going to lose Lindholm so I’d sign Guentzel and then sign someone cheaper like Toffoli.

For the past week or two, the videos have heavily featured Sens rumours. Overall, I like the content on this channel but would appreciate spreading the coverage around a bit more.

I love the idea of Ehlers (with extension) to the NYI for Pulock. But my gut tells me the Jets may need to include a small amount more.

My biggest concern with the officials is they’ve caused a ton of turnovers these playoffs by just being in the way. Remember the days when the officials would literally sacrifice their well being to avoid causing interfere by actually getting the hell out of the way? It’s to the point of appearing accidentally on purpose this year. One of the times a clown got in the way directly lead to the 2 on 1 tying goal for Florida last night.

If they trade their 7th and chycrun for markstrom and the 9th pick and then they’re able to draft parekh, or yakemchuk that would be a perfect trade and then try and sign a top 6 forward like marchessault or toffoli I like that for the sens if Calgary takes it

For me the Canucks were a one off. They’re closer to the team that missed the playoffs for ten seasons than repeating what they did this year.
Especially when Petterson signed a massive deal, and turned into a bathhouse attendant afterwards. He’s been exposed as a guy who is an ineffective third liner when the hitting starts. That contract is going to be a nightmare for years to Come. I’m tired of hearing how the Canucks need to find a winger for Petterson. If he was that good, he should be making his line mates better. That’s pretty hard to do when every loose puck battle the guy is involved in results in a loss of possession for his line.
Bring some Canadian players in there already. This top heavy on Swedes leading the way in Van is proving to be a 20 plus year failure at this point. Going back to Naslund and Ohlund. Sure there’s been some regular seasons that were pretty good, but when it really counted we got choke jobs!
All giving up all those picks this year to go for it did was set back the organization another 3-5 years. They simply don’t have the organizational depth to be considered a legitimate annual contender. I have no doubt that team is missing the playoffs next season. They literally have 2 defenceman signed, and are also about to lose their only power forward type of guy in Joshua. Plus they have very little stockpiled in Abbotsford – as far as sure thing blue chip prospects go anyway. Lekkerimaki couldn’t even stick on Swedens world championships roster. The only way to salvage it, would be a Petterson trade bringing back some organizational depth before July 1.

Guentzel is definitely asking for more than 8 a year, canes sign him for that in a heartbeat. He’s asking for 10+ right now before he has a chance to test the market. The trading the rights to sign a UFA is next to worthless this is just a negotiation tactic.
Not sure what you were looking at on the Draisatl hit. It wasn’t like Barlow fell and therefore he inadvertently hit him in the jaw. He clearly targeted it.

I don't know if it's another Jacob Trouba Trade, in that they'd be overpaying him, if they were to give him $12M+ for 8 years, it'd be paying him a Salary for what he did for The Ottawa Senators & not for us. The David Quinn hire might be also meaning, that, if they go & move on from Mike Sullivan & do A Rebuild, David Quinn is A Decent Rebuild Coach (King Of The Rebuild/Bad Teams Coach – As I Call Him). Let me know what you think
