I hope Dave stays around! Always enjoy his play by play!
I want to believe Whitecloud, Theodore, Stone, Pietrangelo, Karlson, and even Hill were playing injured or less than 100% in the playoffs. They all just looked beat up, slow, and worn out compared to last year.
The biggest issue I have with Dave Goucher is his need for continuously quoting meaningless statistics a hundred times a game annoyingly right in the middle of play (I counted once and stopped at 100 times he quoted stats). It was so distracting that I watched the opponents play by play announcers for 90% of the VGK games the past two seasons. That said, I do like him and think he is a nice guy and talented announcer. I just wish he would stop with all the needless information that means nothing and takes away for the enjoyment of watching the games.
