  1. I hope Leon gets what’s coming. Goon move bud. Let’s go Cats, 2 more. I said by game 3, Edmonton is going to be feeling it. I was right. Let’s go Cats!

  2. The Canadian media is ridiculous when it comes to Oilers bias. If Tkachuk hit McDavid the way Draisaitl hit Barkov everyone would be crying for a suspension.

If Soucy gets one game for cross checking McDavid this hit should at least be one game.

  3. Had I known capfriendly was considering this I would have started a crowdfund to raise the money to prevent it. Loved their site.

  4. Totally clean “hit” on Barkov. So clean in fact that I hope the Panthers will use it on McDavid in the next game, at least once. Twice if he’s still conscious.

  5. Attrition, inferiority, mediocrity, lack of depth. Whatever you want to call it, Panthers are just a much better team.

  6. The NHL has to have their own cap friendly system. How else can they monitor each teams cap space. Each contract or trade is submitted to the NHL for approval. I can see why the NHL does not like the public scrutiny of bad contracts or trades so easily available. Does that mean teams might not provide full details to the public on new contracts or trades? It would make it difficult to populate any public site with accurate information.

  7. That hit on Barkov was dirty (among many others) and if the NHL doesn't do something about it then things will get ugly in game 3. They will split in EDM and come back to win it in 5

  8. This reminds me a lot of the Ducks-Senators Cup final in 2007. Ottawa had one prolific line but their lack of depth got exposed by Anaheim, much like what's happening to Edmonton now. This Florida team really reminds me of the 2007 Ducks. Five games sounds about right.

  9. Florida has been a display of talent and depth consolidated. It’s impressive.

Oilers don’t quite have the complement of things. A work in progress. If not this Cup …they will be back especially if they hone the team roster a bit. They just look inexperienced by contrast.

  10. Draisaitl and McDavid are a pair of goons. So far, these playoffs McDick has 3 high sticking with blood penalties and Draisaitl obviously tried to maim Barkov. As others pointed out, if either of these slashers were on the other end, heads would roll. From an Albertan.

  11. it's crazy how much the cheap shots last night are being minimized by canadian media outlets…. i mean… jesus christ it's freaking BAD.

  12. The 'Overeaction' from Rangers fans of which I am one has been put into perspective in the first 2 games of this final series,The Panthers are a machine that cannot be stopped they grind teams down into submission.

  13. Bennetts headshot to Broberg is not mentioned?

Bennett has commited at least 3 questionable hits in the last two games. Sure, oilers shouldnt make plays of frustration but why does every media turn a blind eye to Bennett? Because thats his reputAtion and you expect that recklessness from him?

  14. This Jeff guy wants Florida to win BAD! He says “ Draisaitl elbows Barkov in the head “ then proceeds to say “ nah McDavid wasn’t hooked from behind by Tkachuk “ have you ever played HOCKEY? That was a HOOK

  15. Steve Kozari is allowed to ref after clearly favoring the Panthers on the hot mic?
Steve Kozari is allowed to ref after clearly favoring the Panthers on the hot mic?
Steve Kozari is allowed to ref after clearly favoring the Panthers on the hot mic?

  16. Oh well. Barkovs teammates play by the sword which means barkov is open to be killed by the same sword.

  17. Geez, have you guys never seen a game where the game stopped at the 10 minute mark of the third period and the goalies skated to the other end of the rink??

  18. What do you mean Florida didn't earn the win in Game 1? Last time I checked, Bobrovsky plays for Florida and EARNED the win. Friedman, you are simply pathetic.
