  1. The team pools might be the deepest of any in the league. Lots of poteincial NHLers but only in bottom six bottom pair roles. The pool just doesn't have any guys who feel like they become star producers over half the time. I'd be swinging for upside hard in the draft no reason to draft another guy projects as a grinder.

  2. From a California surfer guy.
Thank you for keeping up the News
    On the mighty Blackhawks.
Been a fan of the Blackhawks since
The 1960's via my Father's love of the game he played as a young man in the 1930's.

  3. Beckett Sennecke, similar to Tij Iginla, are the pre-NHL Draft Flavors du Jour. They are rising like sourdough yeast and it is a coin toss with regard to whether Sennecke cracks the Top 10. He will not be available for the Chicago Blackhawks at No. 18, however. My guess (FWIW): he slides down to the 11-13 range. My sleeper candidate in the current prospect pool? Roman Kantserov.

  4. My recent thoughts on Patrick Kane are that at this point of his career, with three cups under his belt and his legendary status as an all time great set in stone, the storybook ending would be if he came back to Chicago to give whatever he has to the franchise and help develop the young, upcoming talent. Would the chance of winning another cup really be that much better than being a legendary bridge to the Blackhawks next era of greatness? Similar to Foligno’s role but with greater offensive (and sentimental) impact.
Just my feelings but probably not Kane’s and definitely not Davidson’s, apparently.
