The San Jose Sharks hold the # 1 overall selection in this year’s NHL Draft at The Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada and are expected to take Hobey Baker Award (Best NCAA Hockey player) winner Macklin Celebrini.
What they do at the # 14 selection is much more up in the air with several players possibly being available to select.
Konsta Helenius, Cole Eisermann and Berkly Catton could fall to them due to all of the impressive Defenseman prospects available.

Sharks sound like they could be good soon!
I would try to trade Ferraro to NJD since they want to trade the 10th overall pick for a top 4 dman. I think Ferraro fills a lot of wholes and helps fix a lot of problems for NJD. Then id trade the 10th pick + 14th pick to Utah or Montreal for 6th or 7th pick. I'd hire Joe Pavelski as coach next year as well!
If Anton Silayev is available at 14, i would trade down and select EJ Emery further down. Emery can fill the same role as Silayev but with more on-ice awareness.
It's always funny to me that no one can ever get Kevin Labanc's name right…even Sharks fans. What is even better, though, is that not only did you spell his name wrong Lebanc but you also pronounced it wrong even from the misspelling (Le- Blanc). Great stuff and a good laugh for me!
