  1. Florida trading biz was one of the best gave up their low 1st pick draft or old player to exchange elite player didnt want to renew.

  2. Hey Johnny great videos! What programs do you use to make the video clips? I'd like to try and put something like this together for nfl videos.

    Enjoy your day

  3. The truth (my) of it all is, Calgary moved out a lot of talent over the past 4 years and a lot of those players are still very good (Monahan, Bennett, I’ll give you a pass on Fox) but Calgary continued to deploy systems or coaches that stagnated the offence. Sometimes it’s not the player but the environment. You are right, change for the sake of change allowed him to reset.

  4. So if you mismanage superstar talent you can write it off as a complicated situation? Be honest with yourself.

  5. Great explanation! I completely agree with your take. People just don't realise that some players aren't able to unlock their full potential within certain systems or environments.

  6. Calgary is a farm team for bigger american markets just get that in your head already..lucky you won one cup but that will be it

  7. Thanks, always wondered about this. For awhile there, it seemed like Calgary had so much potential with alot of really good young players.

  8. A deep dive into Wideman, and do/did the Referees really have a beef with the Flames

  9. In 402 games in Calgary Bennett only had 5683 minutes played in 213 games in Florida he has 3626 also has taken a fuck ton more faceoffs in Florida (maybe you should play a center as a center)

  10. What I recall is Bennett asked for a trade, then his game started coming around and he seemed happy under Sutter, but the Flames traded him anyhow.

  11. Coaches can kill a players ambition or style of play.Part of a coach’s job is how to best utilize a players abilities into their system.

  12. I feel like this is what Kotkeniemi's story is going to be. He'll get traded off the Hurricanes at some point and come into form on another team.

  13. Have you guys ever considered that maybe most of these teams are like most companies in a particular sector? That they're terrible organizations.

I work for one of the world's largest auto manufacturers and they're so badly managed that most people wouldn't even believe it. It's financialization and governments that keep them alive. People that come here with decades of work experience elsewhere can't believe it.

Maybe Florida and Vegas are like Toyota and Honda and Toronto and San Jose are like Mercedes and Land Rover. If you look at all the homosexual pedophilia and homosexual sexual harrassment in the NHL as well as the increasingly alarming stories about Babcock that are still coming out. How could both Detroit and Toronto have tolerated such a toxic work environment? How come the fans never knew about it? Maybe the players are only one part of the issue.

  14. The Matthew Tkachuk situation in Calgary is exactly why i believe the Brady Tkachuk rumors of him possibly leaving Ottawa are true. Brady sees Ottawa going nowhere fast, while his bros bout to win a cup.

  15. The pattern with the Flames and players leaving has more to do with the organization than the players. The Flames organization is stuck on an image and playstyle that is seriously out of date. Reminds me of all the old men around the table in Moneyball talking about how certain ball players "looked". You can see how Treliving has taking that ideal to the Leafs and now Conroy you are going to get the same mid results until someone leads the organization into modern hockey.

I really hope Tij Iginla does not go to the Flames because every little mistake he makes will be scrutinized and any success he has will of course be because of his pedigree and nothing to do with the work he has put in.

  16. How could the flames sign Kadri and Huberdeau to long term contracts? The answer is GM (general moron) Treliving. Good luck Toronto

  17. I remember there was talk of Vancouver trading Jake virtanen plus draft picks for Bennett when they were both struggling. Would have been a great trade for the Canucks now
