Very sad to hear, but can’t really blame him. It’s certainly tough enough with his personal issues but playing for a dysfunctional organisation probably didn’t help matters. It’s a pity we never got to see him at his peak here, will be sorely missed, probably still one of my favourite players to put on the uniform. When he was on, he was really on. Unfortunate timing, as his value is probably at an all-time low – as morbid as it seems, it is a business – but hope he finds a happier place somewhere.

This just sucks to hear. I understand wanting a change of scenery and I am all for him getting whatever he needs to get healthy and back to feeling okay about stepping on the ice again…but I really was hoping he would be willing to give it another shot in Columbus under new circumstances.
