They need to take more shots at the goal, get in the eyes of the goalkeeper, and put more pucks into the blue area in front of the goali as well as out more forwards. We can win this but game 2 we got played by the Florida.
Florida has two people in front of the Skinner and one slow skating towards the goal. They have pull this multiple time and it works for them. Our defenders need to keep there stick on the ice.
Play faster huh? Well sorry, Perry’s lack of footspeed at this point cannot help us do that. Play Ryan at least he’s defensively responsible & would have some jump having not played a few games!

If Barkov does match McDavid, Oilers do not have enough to match either one of the 2nd or 3rd lines. If they stack McDavid & Draisaitl again it just makes it easier for the Panthers. McDavid is clearly the most talented player in the series. Barkov is the most complete player in the series, probably the league, that has instilled that mentality into the rest of the team. Players like Lundell, Listorionian follow his lead to a T!. I still credit Jagar for Barkov's work ethic. Those years in Fl had a huge influence to a young Barky & not many people mention it.
Draisaitl's hit was dirty, clearly he is frustrated, watch the replay in slowmo. He lifts the elbow & leaves his feet. He's not a dirty player though & the series would be ridiculed if he was left out. That being said nobody wants him out of the series unless Barkov did have a concussion and couldn't play. Panthers want no excuses. They just limited Kucherov, Pasta, Panarian. Beat Vasey, a red hot Swayman, and a red hot Igor. If it wasnt for Igor Cats would have swept NYR.
But hey, your Oilers also beat a very deep Dallas team in a game they had no right winning with the X-factor that is McDavid. Should be a a couple more great games. Cheers boys!
Oilers could not have played a better game one on the road, and Panthers flexed that depth even more with Bob. That was the first game of the playoffs Bob has really been called on. Look at the Boston & New York series, Panthers limited their shots just like they are to Oilers. To the Best players just like they have so far to Edmonton. People saying the Oilers stars need to show up is crazy. The Oilers speed is evident. What's more evident is the Panthers team game! People blaming the refs, Bob losing his mask, is a joke. Oilers just don't play the game that can beat this FL team in a series, even with the best player in the world. I don't see them changing that anytime soon. The best chance they have is FL taking penalties and start producing on the PP.
5-5 they have no chance! McDavid can probably win the Oilers 1-2 games himself, but no way he can salvage this series!
