Why isnt sebastian aho in? We need a fast skating, puck moving defenseman. We got lucky Reilly turned out decent…but Bortuzzo doesnt even seem like he could skate at an AHL level…where is the common sense?
Big Kev. As bad a finish as it was last night, (it was bad) the team has yet to lose a game on home ice. The Isles had 2 games in Carolina against heavily favored Canes team and they had chances to win both. Game 3, in our building, in front of our loud fanbase, will tell me what these guys are truly made of. In the offseason, whenever it comes, the owners need to change the culture of this franchise. Lou should be thanked and shown the door. Need a younger GM with an eye to build a faster, younger more skilled team. Somebody call Ledecky !

Canes fan here. No disrespect to the NY fans from this end. A lot of us are transplants who adopted the Canes and have a strong hockey background. Like other fanbases we have some bad ones. Either way, not taking the Isles for granted. Expecting a tough series still.

Great call on the dump and chase tactic. So many wasted possessionsā¦. So frustrating. As a fan of the team since ā79, this was the worst loss in the history of the franchise. The Rags game was bad but they still made the playoffs after it. THIS is worse.

Canes fans don't know hockey. I have watched and know more hockey than this youtuber. But, this is what oppo fans do when they lose and embarrass themselves, they mock the opposing fans. You can always find over the top tweets from any fan base, to base your comments on that is moronic. BTW you should be embarrassed on how your islanders lost their mind after the loss, misconducts all over the place. Those misconducts telegraphed to the world that the series is over.
