This person should never work in sports journalism again

I honestly don’t think I can tell you which one is the worst. Better to just terminate the contract and let him go for free than some of those.

Gibson is the only one I would even entertain. Problem is, even if Gibson is still good and it’s just the crap defense in front of him that has let him down, I don’t see how he’d do any better here.

If course, if we do that, then Elvis really has to go, and it would be via buyout, and that would need to happen by July 1, so a tight timeline.

Needless to say, none of those will happen.

It’s wild to see the vast perception differences between fans/sites. Some folks have NJ sending the #10 and change for Boqvist and Laine. Other have Laine to NJ for loose lint and a McDonalds BBQ pack.

Well that was unsurprisingly a garbage article. Harvesting 6 clicks for one piece of trash.

I’ll aim the cannon at Don myself if he sends Laine to Pittsburgh. Man’s been through enough lately

  7. If no salary is retained, I think that’s a massive w with any trade involving Laine. Sad to see things didn’t work out, but cap space is power, and can look to really use it in the next couple years for free agency. Hopefully Wadell weaponizes salary cap at trade deadline if the team is out of contention at the end of the season.

  8. All this tells me is that anyone can call themselves a sports journalist. Anyone.
