I honestly don't want to watch the rest of the playoffs if there is no supplementary discipline for Ekblad. I think Draisaitl could have been a hockey play gone wrong (and still punished with a couple of game suspension probably). This is something else entirely and has no place in hockey.
The refs looked the other way in the Bruins Series and they looked the other way in the Rangers Series, So the Oilers just need to figure out how to win against the refs also.

There is no way in hell a defense man is going to let one of his teammates get jumped from behind (because everyone in the scrum is facing away from Bouchard) Your Boy got stopped dead in his tacks from getting into the pile. Problem was he wasnt expecting Arron to be there and Aaron just put him down almost for the count and then Aaron realized Bouchards the best assist guy for the Panthers! Unfortunately the Oilers are one dimentional they have ONE good line and when you shut that line down they cant score. The oilers rely on the gifts of the refs giving them power plays ( which by the way they are 0-7 so far) when the Oilers actually have to play hockey instead of tic tac toe on a power play there are teams in the league that can shut them down. Mostly the eastern conference teams the west plays loose and free and the Oilers speed causes teams to get penalties but in playoff the teams are already set. these no need for showboating for attendance purposes. EVERY team goes into the playoffs knowing the reffing changes. Its the teams that adapt that will win. I wouldnt be surprised if barkovs Jaw is broken. theres getting away with penalties and then there is intent to hurt you dont jump off the ice and through an elbow againts a player standing still against the boards…

The Oilers have been playing dirty and seem to have the "If you can't beat them, then beat them up" mentality.' I'm a Stars' fan and watching the Oiler's play has me cheering on the Panthers. It takes an entire team effort to win championships–not just keeping your best players on the ice as much as possible.

You know, Bouchard had the option to fight back. That's why there was no call here. If you have played hockey, you know you have many options here. 1. Reach back and punch the guy. 2. Drop to your knees and get out of the hold. 3. Take a leg and take the player down to the ice. 4. Be a baby, do nothing and try to draw a penalty in the Stanley Cup finals while you are physically and mentally dominated. I don't recommend number 4 because it sets the precedent that you are going to lose the series. Sedin Twins did this all the time……. No Cup There.
That happens multiple times a season during scrums and one player holding back another from behind. He’s not tryna out a UFC choke hold. Nothing to see here.
