I’ve never been a “You win a cup with goaltending” kind of guy. When was the last time that a cup was won by a team with the best goalie in the league? Brodeur in 03’? You need someone who can get you through the games and maybe have a clutch game. You can’t win with just goaltending and you can’t win with just 2 superstars. Balance and depth win cups
Laptops literally on your lap is a bad look

Charlie’s logic is flawed. Would you rather trade the 10th pick that you wait 2-3 years to develop for a goalie or a player like Jesper Bratt that’s proven? I trade the pick
Briere should be STALKING outside Anaheim's front office like "what did you want for Zegras?".
HUGE potential ESPECIALLY if Torts can help his defensive game and play without the puck.
Guy has TRUE 1C potential and would look awesome with York and Drysdale behind him.
Sanheim and assets for Trevor Zegras? Laughton to wherever to recoup some picks. Tell me this lineup isn't swinging for the fences just LIKE we need!
Sanheim Or Bonk/or the 12th pick. And a 2nd to Anaheim? (Are the Flyers going to get a better player than Zegras at #12? 🤷♂️) For fun we'll go with Sanheim, 32nd pick, a 2nd, and a 3rd. (Laughton recoups some picks) Draft Catton or Eiserman. Realistically Eiserman. Then GO Sign Zadorov!!! A big defensive defenseman that isn't Risto! (Doesn't hurt to group the Russians a little for Michkov too. Plus a big Russian Bodyguard already here to protect him!

This team could be a couple years and a peice or two away from a Stanley Cup with a little luck and the right coaching and contract decisions
Zegras brings HUGE upside to the PP and insulates Couturier yo 2C where he can do Selke 💩 in his 30s.
This team NEEDS that STAR next to Michkov. And Zegras is the right age, has a playmaker style with a scoring touch, and should have PLENTY of chemistry with York, Drysdale, and Farabee.
THIS IS THE MOVE Briere!!!!
You should be harassing Anaheim's front office! Just kidnap Zegras and leave Sanheim with a note! 😂

Do we realistically pick anything out of the top 5 better than/with more potential and talent than Zegras? We're probably not getting even Catton anyway. 🤷♂️ Eiserman is probably best pick available which is who they should take. Barring an anomaly.
And you tell me Zegras, Michkov, Farabee, Couturier, Tippet, (Mayne Eiserman?) and Konecny doesn't sound like an absolute MONSTER scoring Top6.
Not too mention the Depth, grind, and two way play of the bottom 6.
Getting that potential 1C with high scoring upside, while insulating Couturier and Frost better, and adding a Physical Defenseman LH who can play the left side with some MEAN in his game are truly what this team needs.
Then we'd be possibly getting somewhere. Better than doing the same thing each season and hoping for a late round MIRACLE.
Philadelphia is NOT a coveted location. These guys truly need to get with the program. Young talent has choices these days. Stop falling in love with players that can't get us where we need to be.
It's better to bottom out and take a chance than ride the middle of the pack for another 20-25 years.

Getting a Michkov here , then maybe a Zadorov type of signing, (The Sanheim package out for T.Z., Laughton and Brink get you some more picks, and an Eiserman/Catton replaces Laughton could add up to a literal Night/Day difference on this team.
We NEED that Potential!
We are lacking future possibilities the way we're going!
Players with Zegras type scoring potential don't come around but every so often. If that.
And with Torts. Who knows!
Zegras could be putting players like Jack Hughes and Cutter "The Quitter" 🤡Gauthier🤡 to shame within a few seasons. I see true 100+ point potential in Zegras.
God. I don’t understand your obsession with catton. I don’t like him at all.
Also, some long shots on guys like Alex Turcotte and Arthur Kaliyev could be interesting. Could be some huge upside potential still there for those guys given an opportunity in the right circumstances.
