QUESTION OF THE DAY — What Are YOUR Thoughts On Prospect Michael Hage? Would YOU Like To See Him At 18? Also Which FA Goalies Would YOU Want The Blackhawks To Pursue?
Can’t wait for the draft to see how everything plays out Hage looks like a promising prospect but I’m still staying with Liam Greentree who looks like a possible stud in the making he’s been getting better and better every year and was the captain of a very bad Windsor team and posted great numbers but who knows how it plays out going to be exciting either way. I’m also excited about the Hawks rookie tournament this year in St. Louis being able to see all the new young talent for the Hawks in person and on my birthday will be pretty special!
I think you should maybe cover guys like alfons freij and dominic badinka. Guys that have a chance to be at 34 is interesting upside that the hawks should take a swing at.
If I’m the Blackhawks have to look into KÄHKÖNEN, lankinen, stolarz, maybe desmith, NEDELJKOVIC. Let sody got back to Europe
Without an obvious difference in talent available between picks 18 and 20, it makes me wonder even more about the logic of the trade with the Islanders. Are not more bites at the apple in the second round more valuable than marginal moves up in the first and second rounds?
What are your criteria for a prospects value? Because for the life of me it’s bizarre how low Lardis and to a lesser extent Hayes is on your list. In my opinion upside is the #1 criteria for a prospect. To me Lardis is only behind Nazar and Moore. I wouldn’t argue if you wanted to put Rinzel over him but that’s it. I don’t think anyone would put someone like Ethan Del Mastro over Lardis. No way is a third pairing defenseman above a possible top six forward. You can pick up a guy like that in free agency for 2 million a year. Even Hayes has top six upside if everything clicks, not a play driver for sure but a pretty good complimentary piece. Can’t really say that about any other prospect except maybe Kantserov.
Lacklustre defensive consistency is an issue with all 18 year old players, looks like a safe pick
