It’s more proof Oilers were not a Stanley Cup team this year and got a lot of luck with teams they faced. Stars got worn down and had too many members injured (when Tanev got injured in game 4, things changed). Panthers have a great well rounded team and it shows. Oilers have 2 players, shut them down and they can’t do much.
Stars really got screwed this year. Would have been a better series. I still don’t think it’s gonna be a 4-0 shut out (I’m thinking 4-1), but I am more convinced it may happen than I was in game 2.

As a Canes fan, yep, getting swept by the Panthers stings—especially with four close games. But I have to admit that this Panthers team looks too strong, too balanced, and too complete to overcome unless you play perfectly against them. I tip my hat to Paul Maurice and the entire Panthers team. I expect the series to be over soon. The rest of us fans of other teams have to hope we can be better next season.
