How useful a player is he Steve? "A very useful player." So true he says it twice.
Anytime you hear that a team got a player while his former team is retaining salary, my mind goes back to the scene in Moneyball where Beane (Pitt) is telling Justice (Bishop). "I want to milk the last ounce of baseball you got in you, and you want to stay in the show. Let's do that. Now, I'm not paying you for the player you used to be – I'm paying you for the player you are right now." Even earlier in the scene when he says about how much he's actually paying for the player, and how the former team is actually paying him to play against them.
Habs losing mete is going to hurt them. Once he fully develops and enters his mid-late 20's he should be a real good defenseman.
If he's a nice guy and tries hard I think he'll do fine.
What about all the Avs trades?
THG is way better than this guy
Shut up Steve! Yes I'm on my phone reading trade news while watching your video lol
WTH. When did the Leafs get Rittich? lol. Good pick up though, the guy is a rock when he's on his game.
I actually was on my phone when you called me out for being on my phone.
Personally, I was hoping the Kings would work on getting rid of more of their aging veterans, but selling off Carter to the Pens for a pair of draft picks is fine. If nothing else, that makes room for Quentin Byfeld to prove himself.
Ottawa also got rid of Gudbransson trading him for Brandon Fortunato and A 2023 7th round pick.
sportsnet edit your videos better!!
You want a trade tree according to something i saw from sportsnet earlier today the Carter trade continues one that goes back to 1971and involves the great Marcel Dione be interesting to see your thoughts on that one
What is he again, Steve? I forgot.
"A VERY USEFUL PLAYER."
Still looking for those videos about Taylor Hall..
I guess David Ayres was busy
The Leafs know what a up with Freddie. They're just not saying.
