Naw the 2002 Wings are the beat all time team
I really don’t understand anyone who didn’t see this coming. I called it multiple ways. With receipts. To be fair I said panthers in 5 because I figured oilers could steal one game. But I don’t understand how anyone had the oilers to win. They are one of the worst finals teams since the habs made it. And I’m a habs fan.
Umm I think it is because FLA scored more then EDM each game!
Losing Montour wil be a huge hit for FLA, there is no way they can keep both him and Reinhart so make a choice , either one really hurts FLA.
Ill argue the 07 Ducks all day.
Poor management / ownership decisions on contracts + roster were hidden so far by 97 and other value players (18-29-14-28..). Others are way overpaid (25-36-5-91-…) or not at the level yet (74-86). EDM lucky to make the Finals thanks to PP-PK, it just shows against a deep team with at least 5 guys playing way above their cap hit. EDM regular season seems too "PP biasied" to translate into playoffs.
I really wanted Canada to win a cup until I saw the was Oiler fans treated Canuck fans online and the way commentators would suck off Mcdavid. Glad they are losing. Would love to see any OTHER Canadian team win it now.
Best team? Did they not watch the 2002 Red Wings?
Florida has playoff players period . Great goaltending and great Defence . You build from your goaltending on not towards like leafs
Pretty easy answer to this one. The Panthers are a way better team.
They are the better team?
Best ever? Did you watch the Red Wings in 02'? LGRW 🐙🏒🤘
How? Team… all team all the time. Incredibly well coached.

About the number one defensemen list. The penguins list is Gonchar, Letang, and then they didn’t have one in 2017 because Letang was hurt and Justin Schultz really stepped up that year.
The panthers don’t have a number one but they have like 4 or 5 number twos
Lundell – Tarasenko could be first line pair in many other teams
I got caught up in the NY Rangers hype and when they went up 2-1 I thought the Panthers were done. Then the Panthers nonchalantly won the next 3 games and haven't lost since. One question I'd like to ask is this: Given last year's run wasn't a fluke, does that lesson the rep the Bruins got for the biggest choke ever?
let’s be honest. The Oilers are not a strong team. The panthers are pretty middle of the road with really good goaltending. The panthers barely beat a Bruins team who didn’t even have a center.
I remember the playoffs when Roy shot to prominence with the Habs and the announcers made specific mention that his name was pronounce 'Roi' and that he was indeed, French Canadian!
Yougen, I've been watching hockey since the '60s. I watched Gump Worsley play!!
Great depth —- excellent work ethic — they are consistent with the pace of the game they set — they keep the pressure on, and you don't see them getting discouraged or off their game if they go down a goal or 2…
How is this even a question? Did you guys forget this team got swept many times in the McDavid era to good teams? Colorado, Knights, Jets (WTF!), and now Florida. Why would anyone take this team seriously is the better question? Say what you want about the Leafs, they are at least not getting swept in the playoffs. They are actually competitive against teams that win the cup unlike the Oilers. Or did you not notice this?? McDavid? Swept FOUR times. The Oilers are the Leafs but with a worse roster construction in a far softer division. What, you think the Oilers would do better if they played in the Atlantic division? They would be a wild card and out in the first round every year.
