The Panthers won Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final with a 4-3 win over the host Edmonton Oilers on Thursday.

Florida is now a win away from the Stanley Cup and holds a 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Game 4 of the Cup Final is tonight at 8 p.m. (ABC) in Edmonton.

On Thursday night, the Panthers took a 1-0 lead on a goal from Sam Reinhart.

Tied at 1 in the second, Florida scored three unanswered goals with Vladimir Tarasenko, Sam Bennett and Sasha Barkov all scoring.

Edmonton scored twice in the third, but Florida held on as Sergei Bobrovsky ended with 32 saves as he edges closer to the Conn Smythe Trophy as postseason MVP.

  1. I have always been a fan of Paul Maurice when he coached Winnipeg — but I have never been more a fan than after listening to this press conference.
    I want Paul Maurice to win this Cup now more than ever, proud to be a Canadian and I know Paul will never forget where he comes from ❤

  2. At 8:02, does he say "the ardor and pursuit of excellence without the guarantee of reward"? It sounds like "ardue," but then the word should be "arduous." Just curious what he's saying, because he also said that exact line about Gustav Forsling in a previous conference.
