Boston Bruins talking to Heinen – New Bruins Trade Rumor

The Boston Bruins are starting contract talks with Danton Heinen. Forbort has played his last game as a Boston Bruin. Could Brock Nelson be traded to the Boston Bruins? Bye-bye, CapFriendly and we have a schedule for the Four Nations Cups.

  1. Not getting tougher is not great. Look at Florida. We don't need soft small players. FFS, what are you smoking?

  2. sweeney will screw things up as usual.almost 10 years with this clown and he's ruined this team for years.time to fire him jacobs but the owner doesn't give a hoot.

  3. Good show, I am a big Bruins fan going way back. P.S please turn down the background music, too loud and it is distracting. Thanks.

  4. Heinen would be okay for a 2-3 year deal, but the salary should be under $2 M per year, anything more and he can walk. Forbort, Shattenkirk and Grezelyck can all sign elsewhere right now if they want, just walk away same for Maroon he is too slow. Nelson would be good, but we can't be giving away anymore picks or young guys like Poitras, if it could be a hockey trade for Coyle + then it could be worth it.

  5. I disagree with your philosophy. The B's lost to St. Louis and twice to Fla due to their lack of physicality. The one game this year where the B's had 70 hits (that's usually a monthly stat) they beat Fla soundly. You can be fast AND tough and THAT'S what it takes to win in the playoffs. I admit, I am old school and unless we're talking 'gifted' player, defencemen need to be 200+ lbs.

  6. I'm not down with NHL players playing outside the league. The injury issue is the reason. For fans to see THEIR star player injured during a promo game is a tragedy. But we know the greed determines what the owners do.

  7. We couldn't get it out of our own end, lost too many face offs, weren't often as physical, never had guys in the slot, didn't shoot enough, and rarely scored on breakaways. You decide the players but imagine Ullmark to Chicago for their #2. Please draft a scorer.
