This is by far the BEST playoff series I've ever watched in my life, I was going crazy when Nino Neiderreiter hit the middle post to seal the deal in overtime.. I can still hear the red bar ringing in my ears! (Y)
Could Nathan MacKinnon be any worse on defense? The game tying goal was scored by his man who he left wide open and then he made that embarrassing slide. Teach this kid some defense.
This game was the worst day of my life, and I'm a wild fan. I swear to god, i had 15 heart attacks. I wasn't even happy when nieddereiter scored. I was insanely relieved.
def one of the better playoff series, Minnestoa(7th) vs Colorado(2nd) with four OT games including game 7? and how spuregon, landeskog, mckinnon, granlund, niederreiter all came outta nowhere? what a series and what deterMINtation by the wildafter losing the first 2 by 1 goal(game one went to ot) and game 5 OT AND being down twice in the THIRD PERIOD of game 7
lol I remember watching that I'm a wild fan and all of my cousins were avalanche fans. I remember when they scored that goal in the last 2 minutes and when they won at the end it was awesome. Then they lost to Chicago 😂
I remember how I felt after watching that OT goal. It hurt so bad. I was 9 and it was the first time in years the avalanche were a good team. I’m 15 now and it doesn’t hurt as bad anymore but still stings.
As an Avs fan I'd like to thank Nino Niederrieter and the Wild for defeating us in game 7 all the way back in 2014. Without this heart break loss it wouldn't have set the Avs on the path that ended with Winning the Stanley Cup here in 2022.
This series was nothing compared to the 2003 one that was a true under dog story . This series was dominated by the Wild despite it going 7 ….I remember all the games in Minnesota the wild just completely shut the avalanche down and out shot them badly …
It's quite ironic how in 2003 the Minnesota Wild , a 3rd year expansion team retired Patrick Roy. Then in the '13/'14 season Roy takes over as coach and the Avalanche went on a path of destruxrion! A dead setter to win the Cup 100%. And the Wild now a 13 year expansion team Eliminate the Avs now coached by Patrick Roy LOL. Then last playoffs The Seattle KRAKEN in their 2nd year as a team defeat The Avalanche in the first round. The defending STANLEY CUP CHAMPS. they really do not do well with expansion teams. Can't argue the fact that they're the only team undefeated in the Stanley Cup finals though (3-0)

anthony lapanta os fox sports north is so much better than this guy,"heatley feeds brodziak ahead two on one with neiderreiter. HE SCOOOOOOOOORES!"
Holy cow, what a terrible call the first goal was. Totally interference.

Thank you for having this on here. Great job.
This is my #1 favorite game of all time. Go Wild!
8:18 This is the last goal the Avalanche ever scored on the Wild to this day.
I had never felt happier than when I saw Niedereiter score the OT goal. Jesus, I was ecstatic.

What a game! This game is what made me get a Niederreiter jersey.
Minnesota Wild great game
Would have been nice to have Barrie if it weren't for that low life – seems Wild are looking to recruit all the leagues filth.
one of the worst nights of my life.
FUCK THE WILD

in nhl views from the bus
-#2 on the aves is a joke
this announcer showed little to no excitement on some really good scoring chances
2003
10:13 the best sound ever
I have yet to see a snipe that dirty by Nino.
Basically the end of Patrick Roy's coaching career. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Ha ha
Lol this is a lesser wcf.
We shouldn’t have lost this game… we had no reason to turtle like we did… bad loss by the Avs
Amazing how shitty the Avs were back then. No idea how we finished first in the central that year

God damn spurgeons and ninos 2nd goal were crispy
This game/series is a classic for me. Can’t believe this was 6 years ago already!
I remember screaming at the TV when nino scored!
One difference of wild teams current is better 2014 not very good but pretty good but that team shot the puck

8 years later Kuemper would win a cup with the Avs

@9:11 😂😂 Spurgeon scored and was watching Stars vs Wild 2023 game 1 and Spurgeon appeared to score at same time (ended up being Kaprizov goal)
Solid back check by duchene in OT hahs
Minnesota and Colorado have always been a part of some historic playoff rivalries, this included! Wow what an ending!

The nostalgia this gives me is crazy
