Lomberg hit on Zibanejad – Have your say!

Ryan Lomberg ran over Mikka Zibanejad at the blueline and then literally skated right over top of him like a basketball player who just got dunked on. Does he leave his feet prior to the hit or does he come off the ice as a result of contact? Have your say!

  1. hard to see but it sure looks like both feet are just off the ice as he makes contact… bout what I expect lomberg is another player that always tries hard to get away with "questionable" hits. Bout all they have on the panthers anymore besides barkov and Bob guys that act innocent but wont hesitate to try and injure an opponent.

  2. Cheap shot, skates left the ice, and he blindsided him. Refs have sucked so far in this series , Rangers penalized for minor hits, panthers aren’t.

  3. One of the cleaner plays from the Panthers this year. Dirty team gonna do dirty stuff, until the league does something about it this will probably become the new norm if they keep being successful.

  4. He feet were off the ice. The point of contact was the head. Should have been 5 minutes and ejection, just like the kulikov hit should have been. Florida is dirty! Did you see how lafreniere was clobbered after trocheck scored? His earlier hit was totally within the rules.

The refs have probably been told to put away their whistles.

  5. Where is the Rangers response? New York is playing way too soft! Must stand up to the Florida GOONS, dirty, low life, antics, period!

  6. I hate the panthers as much as the next guy. they get away with so many dirty plays. i dont think this is one of them. Maybe in the regular season you could call this charging or something but i still wouldnt. this is playoff hockey. Good hit

  7. Head was down controlling puck great timing on hit and good job not leaving his feet until contact was made in the playoffs it's a normal hit its a different frequency!

  8. Again, it's playoff hockey. Been following Lomberg since his Stockton Heat days. Happy to see the smaller scrappy 4th line enforcer get a regular spot just like Rempe is trying to do. Mika is playing like a steaming pile of 💩 btw

  9. A dirty play by a shit player. I’m surprised Trouba wasn’t fined another $5,000 even though he wasn’t involved. The refs want Florida to win. Pathetic. What’s next? Evan Rodrigues flopping to the ice for a fake penalty? Oh wait 😮

  10. its close, a real time call or non call hard to fault. Of course armchair refs who haven't a clue what it takes to officiate, or whats realistic will say otherwise. They probably think referees are Judges.
