Arsenal Content Creators Describe Their Dream Striker & Winger Transfers – The Arsenal Transfer Show

hello and welcome to the Guna talk and a special episode of the Arsenal transfer show the show in which of course we bring you all the latest news surrounding Arsenal from the past 24 hours but right now as I speak I am actually at the airport and I can’t deliver you obviously there for a normal 8 A.M show so this means that I am going to be delivering you a 8 a.m. special and what is going to form something of a series over the next few days there may be times where I can indeed do an 8 a.m. show for you all whilst am away and I plan on doing that um but whilst I am on holiday there will be a couple of days where I’m going to throw out this special series now don’t worry it’s not going to diminish the level of quality that we always try to bring you on the channel because I have assembled the Arsenal Avengers if you will and put together a collection of uh content creators from different spaces to talk about a dream transfer window for Arsenal all of these people have given their dream forwards their dream midfielders their Dream Defenders and of course of course uh we’re going to be going through each one of them in different episodic features so we’re going to start today with the dream forwards so to kick things off I’ve got to tell you what I think of course is a dream forward for Arsenal and that includes the center forward it includes the wide areas and for me the center forward position stands out as a real key feature of Arsenal summer we need to raise that floor as we talk so often about here at the channel and I think making sure that we add somebody that improves on Eddie and KY but also brings you that level of quality that we’ve been searching for is obviously really really important Benjamin cesco is at the moment the standout candidate in terms of who Arsenal are going for but my dream signing was always Alexander isach the pace the power the Premier League experience the acclimatization that we’s already gone through with English football has been relatively seamless yes his injuries have somewhat stumbled uh him in in some of his momentum but he’s overcome that he played 30 Premier League games last season scored 21 Premier League goals and look really really good now if it doesn’t turn out to be him Benjamin cesco for me is a really good option as kind of an alternative and then of course you’ve also got Victor joarez who also stands out as a very good option as well beyond that you are struggling to try and find it the striker Market is not that Adept with options in my view I may get proven Wrong by some of my contributors who yours hear from in a second but for me isach is absolutely the dream forward the other positions the right and left wing for me the right hand side is more important making sure that we’ve got somebody who can support and not back up because we don’t like the word backups but be a competitor to bico saaka Chevy Simmons is that guy for me if Arsenal could go and get him on alone with an option to buy because PSG don’t seem too Keen to keep him at the club or he doesn’t seem too Keen to to be at PSG next season whatever the situation is alone with an option would be perfect but if you could go and buy him I absolutely would Pace technical Brilliance an ability to take players on fantastically well create score goals feel like this kid’s got the P got the whole package and still incredibly young as well so for me Jeffy Simmons and cesco or if the dreams could come true isach would be the guy for me or the guys for me but I’m now going to put you on the hands of my very capable cast of brilliant content creators who I’m sure you’ll recognize please show them plenty of love please show them plenty of appreciation and here you go with your first episode of our Dream Arsenal summer window forwards courtesy of this lot [Music] up front at the time of recording there are a lot of links to Benjamin cesco 6’5 he’s going to play as a nine he’s going to be somebody Who develops over the course of this season and Seasons to come if he signs and that leaves you with a pretty good lineup in terms of what else you’ve got you’ve got HTS who can play as a nine he can play a little bit further back as well in the wide areas Martinelli sacka trar Jus there’s a lot there I’m making the assumption that Eddie and kedo will go and and REE Nelson might go as well so if cesco is the guy thereafter that does make some sense I would like I would like to see a Winger maybe somebody with a bit more Pace somebody with a lightning Pace just to give us something a little bit different in attack um again I’m not sure who that player is Nico Williams is somebody who’s very interesting at athletic bbau but there will be a lot of clubs after him uh this summer as well and I know there’s interest in Pedro Netto but his his injury record would be a little bit of a concern whether they can squeeze another player into that forward line we’ll have to wait and see but if we could do a Winger on top of a a striker like cesco I think that would be a very good window from an attacking perspective so my dream uh summer signings for arsenal when it comes to the kind of front line I’m very much in the camp that we got to sign um a more traditional forward I think havit did a brilliant job particularly towards the end of the season um but a little bit of competition for him I think would be would be brilliant so whether that player exists I’m not sure I don’t see Arsenal going in for um OS men I don’t think you know edu is going to sanction that kind of spending would obviously love Isaac although I know his injuries have been a problem um the player that everyone’s talking about cesco I think fits the bill um he’s Young young I think he’s that kind of like malleable player that artetta really likes to kind of get his hands on and you know bring into the way that Arsenal play um versus a player that’s that’s more established and I think if you actually look at osman’s numbers he’s not actually as prolific as as we would want so I don’t see Arsenal going in for for the big money but I do see them um strengthening that kind of forward position I also think um we need a backup for sacka um he has played so much football um and I don’t know who is out there uh who could do that but ultimately you know we need someone who can um play with Ben White who can you know do what staka does to allow him to rotate the squad a bit more so strengthening in the forward line um and obviously on the right as well I think the left Martinelli I back to to kind of bounce back from a poor season by his own standards um I think the you know chopping and changing we had at left back didn’t really help but now that we hopefully have got Timber back I fully back Martin to kind of to come back so I would focus on the right side under study for sacka U and then a forward as well well Tom in relation to forwards or attackers or Wingers or however we’re judging this you know I I am a big fan of Benjamin cesco as we have spoken about on between each other on both platforms so I hope that rumor you know actually happens I hope there’s legs to that I’d be a big fan of what Benjamin cesco could bring and what he could be and what Mikel Arta could get out of him if I’m honest I think in the short term we’d have to give him time to add that but I think within the next two years he would be amazing the dream would be isak I just think you know seeing isak in the Premier League what he’s doing for Newcastle him wearing the number 14 him having a reunion with Martin odard back in their sociate that days on top of all the collective attacking Talent we have and Mikel artet would probably bring in that would be amazing so you know I’d be a big F Isaac would be the dream because you ask be the dream and the dream is fre the hust would sold separately but you know Isaac would be amazing I hope the Benjamin cesco rumors that are are true as I just said joarez would be all right if we’re kind of deviating away from just out andout Strikers even though that’s not really in the modern day someone like Dan Almo for me you know the Spaniard that plays for livick as well he’s almost like a Spanish kind of trar if I’m completely honest you know I’m a big fan of Pedro Netto but again you never you can never say never but it’s fair to say that probably isn’t going to happen happen so yeah that would be it for me really and truly Tom man hey Tom hey G Talk people this is my dream window in terms of forwards for Arsenal this summer um yeah I think this is where we need to spend the big money um honestly I think this is kind of to to spend the Deon rice type money that we did last summer I think this would be the position if I if I could choose um it would be in the forward positions I do feel sometimes you are dictated to by the market well you’re always dictated to by the market but I do think there’s enough in the Ford areas to go and do that um names I’ll put out there I think in terms of that Superstar signing that sort of maybe 100 million pound type player or someone who’s going to come in and give us that that sort of uh boost in the way that maybe a rice Did Last Summer uh I have three names Osan Leo and rashford and those are the three that I think are potential superstars in that front line I think with a shesko with a Nico Williams with these types of guys I have my opinions on them personally but I feel um the club probably it to me it feels like if we can get the sales done then fine but that shouldn’t be the only thing we we need to do and it may sometimes the order of business doesn’t necessarily equal priority so it may well be that we get cesco in or get Nico Williams in and then we go and do the Superstar thing I’d be happy with that as long as we go and do something else or or actually go and spend some Superstar money elsewhere um I’d be probably less happy than I would preference is the forward areas but um but yeah so there’s that sort of the three there rashford lout and a mzo the second and then sort of rung below players I think we could also get in the forward areas that i’ be happy with but that would be way more dependent on sales and ketia um you know ree Nelson possibly even jezus those types of guys uh to come out the team um just in terms of breaking those three guys down um I think um I’ve spoken on rashford on my channel um so you can go check that out if you want to look at that but I think I don’t see that as the perfect signing equally people will say why are we rehab center and as I keep saying look you’re not going to sign we’re looking for our Kevin De bruyne our Salah well Kevin De bruyne and Salah were supposedly you know Chelsea rejects when they came to where they are so I don’t know I I don’t I don’t think you’re going to have a perfect player um I’ve given my thoughts and stuff on rashford so I get too much into that uh layout I just love as a player I think he’s so I think he needs a move he’s got the pace I think we need I think to be honest someone who who’s uh Left sided is probably best for us because I don’t think you’re going to get someone who can you know play behind sacka I it’s going to happen I think that’s a fun and different way of doing that and then Osan um I love him I think he’s a very different type of profile more of a box presence can move center backs in different ways uh can run the channels can do a lot of stuff I think the only thing is when I’ve watched him link up I’ve not felt it’s particularly sophisticated but if we have a guy hav who’s you know stepping from Midfield is almost like a second Striker then maybe we don’t need that so um yeah and then that’s all dependent on deals and stuff but yeah that’s the shape of my my dream window further forwards there is no doubt in my mind who the forward would be when it comes to a dream signing this summer for for Arsenal and it’s Alexander esac at Newcastle 100% no one else comes into the equation for me I think he would be absolutely perfect do I think it’s going to happen no I can’t see it happening at all I think Newcastle have no interest in selling and I think the money it would take to even tempt them into doing business just puts him out the equation but we’re talking dream signings here and he is absolutely perfect he can play coming in off the left hand side he can play as a central Striker he presses well he’s Dynamic he’s aggressive he’s finishing his quality you look at what he’s done since he’s made the move to Newcastle he is absolutely exceptional and I just look at this Arsenal team under Mikel arteta and how he likes his team to play and what it needs to take it to another level and Alexander isap for me is the perfect candidate no one else around I’d love a rafhael le as well think he’s a bit of an xfactor player yes can be a bit of inconsistency in there at times but you would hope Mel arteta coaching could get that out of him I think he comes in and could be a really good option on the left hand side Benjamin cesco as well look fantastic Talent no doubt about that I think he’s a really good option if he does come in and he can you can sort of bed him in while starting maai havs as a number nine lot of potential there with benjamen cesco no doubt about that but if you’re talking dream signings absolutely Alexander is up for me I think could be worth every single penny that Arsenal would pay for him unfortunately I don’t think it’s going to happen but isack is the man for me okay everyone says we need an out andout Striker and if we had a striker we would have won the league last season and uh the season before um I think that we’ve been really an effective team scoring goals the records show it this season it’s been kind of a little bit of a weird one for me in that everyone’s been screaming about having Striker and I don’t know if that was really the difference but I’m going to tackle this anyway and you’ll see another pattern emerging here if you’re talking about a dream signing um I’m going to go for Harry Kane there’s no better player in the world and I would love arsenal to pull another soul camble and break the hearts of Tottenham fans across the land or just North London really because let’s face it they’re not a big Club Harry Kane is the best striker in the world so being bring me the best striker in the world to play for one of the best clubs in the world if I can’t have Harry Kane I’ll take olle Watkins I think he’s been Sensational he has and improved so greatly this season he’s banged in the goals a versatile player as well there’s something special about Watkins and he’s a goona and I’d love to see him at the Emirates and if I can’t have those two here’s a dream signing for you someone who can come off the bench and even playing big games in big moments like the Champions League bring me Robert levandowski oh that would be a Zlatan a Zlatan type signing um a magic Joker the trump card levandowski to Arsenal come on he must be bored at Barcelona already I think those three for me would be my dream signings you probably disagree that’s fine okay so Left sided players um you’re going to see a pattern emerging here with my dream lists everybody I’d love to sign Nico Williams I I’d be really excited to sign you know players like rapael le as well but there’s something about them that just makes me stop for a second and think here’s my list some of you are not going to like this I would take Ja Jack Gish in a heartbeat I would take rashford in a heartbeat I would take matoma in a heartbeat and I would even take Anthony Gordon in a heartbeat I think it’s going to be so important for us this season to really Garner the experience of players who have played in the premier premier league and I also think that it’s down to Mel artetta to convince players to come and make them a part of the squad that can win big things Pep Guardiola was able to do that so easily because he had the pedigree behind him he’s proven that he can win big time trophies at Big Time clubs the next step for Mikel artetta is win to win that Trophy and then you can convince more players to come to the club I know Anthony Gordon just signed for Newcastle last season Jack greish it’s up in the air again with Manchester City rashford up in the air with Manchester United although that would cost an arm and a leg so Moma for me seems like a trossard type signing come in he could improve uh the squad immediately and has that experience and I think could be an X Factor signing for us in the summer okay this was the toughest category to tackle um there’s so many players I could just read the list to you um if I’m going to start with right Wingers again Premier League experience very important players who have risen players who understand what it takes to play in the Premier League week in week out my choices would be Michael Alis uh I think Jared Bowen is a very interesting choice and player that um can come in doesn’t have to move too far Dean rice is also in the side um and I think a little bit underrated actually Jared Bowen doesn’t get the respect that he deserves another player I like who can be on and off but I think he had a very good latter half of the season is Leon Bailey um had a real great impact at Aston Villa and another player who I believe is super underrated and I also think those three players would in hu would improve hugely under Mikel artetta my dream forward would probably be Alexander isach now that’s not a particularly creative shout is it I mean we all know how brilliant he was for Newcastle this season people worry about his injury problems but I think they’re slightly overstated and everyone’s had injury problems at Newcastle so would he be all right with us I don’t know I think his record at sa dad was very good to be fair um the fact that he can play out wide predominantly on the left if hav is in great form up front makes me think yeah go for an eack or a player who at least doesn’t have to play up front in order to be starting games if we can’t get him though and I honestly think it’ take 120 million to get him I would love to go for kudus and again we’re going to enter a biding wall West down which would be an absolute nightmare again but I’d spend 85 million on him I soon I spent 85 million on than I would on Bruno gim Mar honestly I think kudis can play as a false nine he’s good dep for sack he’s good dep for Martinelli out on the left he can play Anywhere across that front three I think he’s waiting to explode like Salah like mané like Diaz did at Liverpool under Jurgen klopp I think he’s ready to take that step and he’s only been a West Ham one year and West Ham fans won’t appreciate me saying this and I get it they’ll make it very difficult for us or anyone to sign him but I think kudus is made to just explode in the Premier League I think he’s brilliant power Pace incredible technical quality pretty sure he’s good with both feet can play a range of positions very intelligent footballer and he’s a kind of moments play as well can do things out of nothing whether it’s shots from distance running through the whole team poaches goals whatever it is I’m almost more tempted to go for him over an isach but kudus I think isach just because of that profile and what we really need and he probably start games and improve the 11 but kudus I think could do it’s more of a gamble but I I think he’s worth it okay so the first job here is dream Striker signings now when we talk about dream signings I guess the question is are we talking about killing mbappe uh are we talking about Vinnie Jr as a dream forward signing I presume that we’re going to agree that even though those might be the dream uh that dream is never going to be reality so what I’m going to go for here are a couple of options where I would consider them a dream but I also don’t think they can happen necessarily I’m going to stay in the realm of sort of between dream and reality that Lial state where anything is possible so uh as a striker signing I think Alexander eak is certainly one that jumps to mind for me um a bit of an hre regen maybe the issue with him aside from price and unavailability would be injury track record uh and obviously the best ability is availability but I just think his combination of pace intelligent running uh clean technique Ease on the ball finishing and the ability to create for his teammates makes him a great option so he would certainly be one for the center forward position that I’d consider uh if we’re going to do wide forwards that’s a tricky one again we’re not getting Vinnie Jr I think Rodrigo is maybe in that category gonna be a lot of Madrid mentions in this video I guess but if he’s the odd man out with mbappe coming and Vinnie there then maybe he’s someone who could be a really nice option as a wide forward another player that I’m going to mention is one that I think will be divisive and people may not believe that I’m going to listen as a dream signing but I’m going to throw in Darwin Nunes um I just think if you said to me who’s a player that if it all goes click has what it takes to be at the Holland and mbappe kind of level in terms of output then it is Darwin Nunes in terms of his raw Pace in terms of his power in terms of the chaos he creates the devastation he creates in the attacking third there’s really no one like him he takes almost five shots per 90 his expected goals plus expected assists I believe over one per 90 or at least right about there uh maybe in excess even of Holland’s output are certainly close to it the obvious issue has been finishing But realize that his finishing for his career uh has not been poor he is goals above expected goals I think for his career prior to the season he just had so for me I say okay all the raw skills are there maybe he was a little fluky with his final decision making maybe there’s a player in there that becomes a 25 goal 10 assist kind of guy I mean think that Talent is in there and in fact his output I think 19 goals and assists or around there in the Premier League this season not a bad output for someone who had a quote unquote Bad season so again not players I think we could necessarily get in Rodrigo isach and um Nunes but I think in terms of in that tier of potential dream signings uh they would be up there there other names maybe a kudu Sedro Netto um Nico Williams guys that I think are getable and I’m not sure you’d put in the dream category but those would be some other names for the forward position as well on to Strikers and Wingers right these are the people that get you off your seat these are the people that make you lean forward or these are the people that make you think nothing’s happening here we’re not scoring um so this is very important and if you look at our team I said this before and I’ll say again we have developed an oftable mentality and emphasis to our Tactical play we have an off the- ball defensive Aura when we turn up at these big grounds ask yourself honestly late in season despite how well we really did we had trossard we had H and we had sacka HZ played brilliantly was starting to Tire slightly chard exceeded my expectations and sacka just ran himself into the ground Pi against Bayern Munich and we struggle with him thereafter he’s obviously carrying something so we lack energy and we lack offensive Aura if Saka slightly down and martinell dropped a bit of form Jay’s dropped a bit of form so this team needs an offensive refresh it does there’s no doubt about it it does and I always go back to the dressing room if you’re Defender for the opposition team and you’re putting on your shin pass you want to think shoot look who they’ve got today in their first 11 look who they got on their bench up front and basically we’re going to have to beat this team twice we’re going to have to beat them twice if you see the first set of Strikers off the next one I coming on when we get to that point we’re in business people so the one I like you guys know probably um Tom definitely knows Benjamin cesco um he was thinking about in January in a small way so I started to look at him and by this time Kai was just starting to to flower post lipo in the cup and I thought you know what if Kai keeps doing this we’re going to need somebody that offers the team something like that and for me arsel are better going forward when Kai hav play his number nine and there’s a certainty to his layoffs there’s a certainty to his action there’s a size that dictates how you pass the ball to him and gives the team Direction so I looked around and I thought when people talk about gaar RZ I thought yeah you’re quite nice you look great on YouTube but I’m not sure running past otamendi he’s not going to do it for me and make me pay 100 million no chance 40 million and then then we got let’s have a conversation and and then we start talk about aim men nope not for me can’t trap it mate look at the videos prop look at his games outside the box he’s an ugly duckling Inside the Box he’s a swan but not for me not good enough it’s hype it’s not good enough he’s got extraordinary physical abilities in the box but you play for arsal you got to look after that football man ain’t going to work um and so my first choice is is cesco and I think six put five we all know the speed we all know the clips now and but we also can see a player that I think can develop and we have a lockdown price around 50 to 55 million quid it will not be that in a year’s time in a year’s time we will not be able to get anywhere near him in this hype world five good games four goals make your your price has double look at isach 60 million in the Newcastle now talking 120 just like that for one half decent season with injury is involved we have a chance to get that player before he um before he explodes and he’s exploding so I did a scout video on that on Division and it was in January and honestly I picked him then if you listen to that video I thought oh he’s now scored seven goals in the last 10 games something like that so the explosion that we predicted then is happening if he goes to euros we don’t nail him we’re all in a bit of trouble I do think what a player like that does is he offers he gives other players a a comfortable protected state to play Within so you can always find so someone like Fabio Vier who’s struggling for a role he’s a great Crosser does think he has a role odard has a different layer to his game if you play hav as a second Striker around him can you imagine those two going towards the opposition defense I just really got a feeling for him the last time I felt like this though it was it was mudrick so I got to be honest I don’t get everything spot on I thought mic was going to be fantastic for us then the prices escaped and when you started talking 70 80 million that no longer worked for me it was a development player no more than 40 million and I would have taken him because I knew the manager would have improved him but now you have a player that’s got massive expectations I don’t want that to any young striker coming into our team so I hope we go for cesco and I think we have time to build him into the player we want him to be um my other my other forward again you can’t help who you fall in love with and I’ve looked around and I there’s two others do I really like um pedroo is one I I just I just I love that player he has got the personality for a Champions League team again if you watch him imagine him in the our crowd in big games in big moments The Bravery to take the ball The Bravery to turn around he shoots off both feet he wants to get if you look at him and you’re a Defender there’s a square a space behind you and he goes to that space with everything he’s got he doesn’t stand in front of you late of I’m going right in behind you and that’s that threat is what we lack threat threat threat zaka does it but when Zak’s tied what happens then you know if you had two of them whoa we’re in business so again I I just like him I know he’s got injury record I know people going to give me the old injury record he had a patella injury which was misdiagnosed on recovery and he’s had a few hamstrings which again we had that problem but we didn’t have a big enough Squad we kept bringing back people too early like party and Tommy ASU and people and we ruined them injury wife and me and we were part of that problem you know we were part of that problem so now we have a better deeper Squad and I think we can we’re learning about recovery and injury recovery and how to use people so I’m not so worried about pedon netto’s injury another player who again you can’t help who you like and I don’t know how we’ use him but I do like m c say again release Clause the price can be can be capped can be captured it’s around 60 million I’ve actually heard it’s less but who cares what I I’m not an itk but I do know people at Palace I’ve actually heard it’s less but 60 million is fine and um and so basically let’s see those are the three that I feel they put on the kit and the ball goes into their feet we’ll all go lean forward and say we’re in a better place than where we were and I think there are my options and you lot you best agree with me have a good day now we move on to the strikers um probably the hardest window to buy a number nine I don’t see any number nine other than one who would be my dream um that’s going to come in and absolutely bang and guarantee 25 goals I think it’s very very I think the days have gone now where you get Strikers that are guaranteed you 25 goals I think all of the strikers that we link with would potentially be a risk my dream signing is Alexander reac but let’s just be real he’s going nowhere not for this season anyway he’s come out and said he’s happy at new Newcastle Newcastle fans aren’t going to want to see him go Newcastle the club aren’t going to want to see him go and if he does it’ll be for between 100 and 200 million it’ll be mad money he’d be my number one my number two after that would actually be Victor yarz now a lot of people might look at that and think why not Tony or Watkins because they’re Premier League proven I look at Tony and Watkins and I think actually it’s a massive step up to come to Arsenal although I would have taken Ivan Tony 100% in the January transfer window I can’t sit and guarantee you that he’s going to be the number nine that takes Arsenal across the line for a title I think it’d be a great option I think oie Watkins would as well and that’s why they probably be my third choice after Victor yarz but I’ve been very impressed with what I’ve seen from this guy man I actually was impressed of him at centry and I know a lot of people that laugh at that but the championship is an unbelievably competitive league physically very very difficult and also when you look at it he’s kind of got experience in England so I look at Victor yarz and think yeah I’d actually give this guy a goal 84 million release Claws from what I believe Tom will be a to tell you if that’s true or not and I do believe that’s a really good signing then of course we go at cesco cesco are option for sure I’d actually take cesco over Rosen which is crazy isn’t it because last season I would have taken oamen all day long but with the injuries with his lack of form it’s not a player that I look at at 26 and think yeah you’re going to guarantee us to get across the line I think cesco at 6’5 back end of the season looked impressive good in the air great with both feet it seems I know people are saying he’s quite wasteful but when I look at him he doesn’t look too bad for me he doesn’t look like a Darwin nunz or a Nicholas Jackson it’s very very difficult however to see highlights on YouTube and make people look bad I will say that but I think that the options I’m going for isack is not going to be so my number one’s yares then anonio Watkins and then a cesco that’s my dream but tell you what it’s going to be a very interesting window though guys so what do Arsenal need in the summer uh need to somehow close the gap on Manchester City that will be by finding two points from somewhere getting so close was heartbreaking last season uh look we saw it the uh the season before with bringing in David ryer uh to replace our Ram that was an area that meletta saw as a possibility uh to close the gap on City he believed that that player could earn Arsenal more points than Aaron ramale and I think as The Season’s gone on I think Arsenal fans believed it and can see what Metta was doing but going into the new season look let’s start with uh a front line forward we’ve been craving it all season Kai hav has done a wonderful job when he started to get used to the style of play that Metta wanted from him and from his team and you know towards the end of the season in particular his form was fantastic and he always will offer that option I believe he was bought into the side uh even that big price tag that Drew so much attention from fans Not Just Arsenal fans but many other fans actually was proved right because it gave Arsenal an alternative way of playing but he’s still not a natural goal scorer and having a natural goal scorer will do Arsenal the world of good uh pleased to see some strong links with Benjamin cesco a player that potentially has uh certainly has huge um potential shall I say to improve still he’s still very young but he’s actually got quite a bit of experience at League level
