Matt and Brenden have the same answer for their top slot, but there’s a healthy debate regarding who some of the other most valuable players in the Cardinals organization actually are.

Gorman is the third best second baseman on the team. Maybe 4th.

Gorman needs major work on his pitch recognition and approach to driving the ball where it’s pitched. Watching his anemic flailing grows wearisome. On the positive side. So happy for Pedro and Mikes/ miles suddenly looking like a solid #2. Now if the Cardinals could hit. 👍 Crawford needs to play as long as his bat remains where it’s at. How about a wake up for Gorman. Put Crawford at 2B.
For me.. Winn > Burleson > Donovan. It doesn’t sound exciting, but seeing Gorman swing and miss so much is nauseating even when he’s carrying offense. You can’t garuntee he’s gonna show up in the playoffs
If Goldy doesn’t resign, Herrera is part of the 1B platoon next year. The team is so much better with Pages behind the plate than Herrera.
