New York Rangers very well could look to add a top 4 caliber defenseman in free agency this offseason and one of their top targets should be Nikita Zadorov. He’s a massive 6’6 248lbs and would fill a need on the left side of the d-core.

Rangers do need a defenseman who is a banger and will clear the crease in front of Igor.
NOPE… .they have too much money on the back end….. 17 million on Fox and trouba…. another 8 million once they sign Lindgren and already have miller… so we are at about 25 million add in Schneider making about 3 million so 28 million.. .they need that 6th guy to be cheap.. not expensive.. and Robertson… and other need to get a chance. then make a trade or signing if they cant
Zac Jones is half his sizes
If the Rangers want to get bigger , physical and faster then they have to focus on players with these qualities.. Short player maybe be good but they also get dragged on the ice by opposing players so what i mean is the Rangers need to choose wisely and select two players that will not only play the game but use their size, as for Trouba coaches have to limit his puck handling.
He was great for Vancouver in the playoffs.Him and bertuzzi are the kind of players we should be targeting
Let lindgren go, sign zadorov, trade trouba and let Zach jones take his place
