Bruins Tee It Up At Cam Neely Foundation Golf Tournament

I’m getting old uh no it’s it’s very uh it’s very special I mean the 30 years of a golf tournament it shows the type of support that the cancer patients families need and and we’re blessed to have it here um you know Charles River it’s a great golf course and beautiful day so we’re just I’m I’m just blessed to be 30 years into this it’s pretty special for sure you understand uh everything that kind of um he has done for this community unfortunately everybody’s been touched by cancer in one way shape or form I I thought we’d raise a few dollars have some fun and and uh help cancer patients and families but you know each year just it just keeps growing and getting better and people want to come back which is a great sign it’s refreshing to see everybody here year in year out and and given to a charity like ham um I’ve been to the Neely house a couple years ago um this tournament uh obviously speaks volume so um you know it’s always great to come out to these events but um I think it’s important to recognize what it’s for uh first and foremost but uh we’ll have some fun today for sure year uh fortunate enough to have some of the Bruins players here we got Charlie McAvoy Brandon Carlo Jeremy Swan former player Tuka former player Patrice berson I was not partnered with sway the other day and we still almost won so I’m going to say he’s one of the worst and then I know Tuka plays a lot of golf so uh he might be a stick out there today who’s the better golfer you were cam I’d say cam yeah although he did have his shoulder replace so you know maybe uh I might that’s how we do it here uh listen have a great day it’s a beautiful day and again appreciate your support have some fun out there thank you

Both former and current players for the Boston Bruins showed up to Charles River Country Club in Newton on Monday morning for a charity golf tournament to benefit the Neely Foundation. Some of the names in the field included Patrice Bergeron, Tuuka Rask, Brandon Carlo, and Jeremy Swayman.
