Millionaires Hat

Sooo I bought a Vancouver millionaires cap on Amazon and it has more of a purple tone than burgundy, which I don’t love. I’m gonna return it anyways cause it has a few rips in it, but I was wondering if anyone has bought one recently and if so, where, and is it purplish like this one? It seems like the only other place that has them in stock is Vanbase, but I don’t wanna spend all that money for it to just look the same.

I don’t see purple it kinda just looks like a dark greyish white

Too purpley for me too ended up giving mine to the gf. I have a couple burgundy tees I thought it would go with but it didn’t match at all

47 brand US has a lot more selection than Canada

I got mine on the 47brand website maybe 6 months ago? I get a lot of compliments on it and I love it. Maybe just keep an eye out for it to come in stock again. Mine’s the proper burgundy colour, or at least it looks that way to me. I’m a girl so maybe the purple doesn’t bother me as much idk.

  5. 47 makes the best hats. Their stuff is miles better than the fanatics trash

if you have the time and energy, and don’t mind the low risk that the hat turns out bad, then i highly recommend doing what i did once for my hat to fade the colour. tape off the V crest + snap closure on the back tightly with a couple layers of duct tape. fill a spray bottle with 5ml bleach and 250 ml water. put the hat in direct sunlight outside somewhere under a piece of cardboard. spritz the diluted solution over the hat, enough to get it evenly damp, but not completely soaked. let the sun dry it. repeat until it’s the shade you want. on a good day where the sun is strong, you can get it a couple shades noticeably lighter by the end of it.

sounds like work but it’s so easy after you tape off the any crests/logos + the snap enclosure on the back. takes a couple minutes to spray every hour or so. whenever you find the right burgandy shade you want, take off the tape and run it in an empty dishwasher on quick cycle without detergent to get out any remaining bleach. trust me, the hat will look so much better faded

  7. I think it’s just a colouring issue from 47 brand. I bought a couple of hats directly from their website recently that were supposed to have a vintage faded look. However the hats I got were much darker than what photos on the website showed.
