  1. Panthers management makes Dubas and his clowns look like keystone cops. Dubas doesn’t have the puck IQ to build a winner. … he never has .

  2. Totally agreed on that strategy. Nothing but credits to Rutherford for going all in and bringing in the cups. The critical side of his actions are the way he devaluated the draft picks. More strategic handling probably would've extended the championship window for a much longer time. It surely would've helped. But again, the goal back then was to actually win a cup and not to keep the championship window open for as long as possible.

  3. I don't know how someone could think Karlsson could be a part of an elite defensive top four after watching his play last year.

  4. Welcome back to the Holy City DK – hope you had a strong family bonding time. I wonder when the trades will get rolling….is that something that happens after the draft? Wouldn't it make sense to work on some trades before free-agency? It seems everything is quiet in the league and I guess that has to do with the Stanley Cup Finals. Once things get rolling it will be interesting to see who goes and who stays. In the post Jeff-Carter-World the next hope is to see if Reiley can find a new home: Here's hoping!
