The Panthers lost Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night to the Oilers, but remain a win away from the Stanley Cup and holds a 3-1 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Game 5 of the Cup Final is Tuesday at 8 p.m. (ABC) in Sunrise.

Edmonton took a 2-0 lead in the first before Vladimir Tarasenko got the Panthers back into it.

The Oilers led 3-1 after the first and 5-1 when goalie Sergei Bobrovsky was pulled in favor of Anthony Stolarz.

  1. Clinching a Championship at home is not the same as on the road, as seen in last nights NBA Final.
    The home team can only seal a 7 game series at home in game 5 or 7. The away team can close at home on #4 or 6.
    Great opportunity to close a Championship at home for Florida tonight.
    Edmonton will have to play like they did in #4…..and Florida not likely to repeat their game 4 performance.

  2. Interesting how he thinks the players are different (in a good way) at no doing of his own. Humble leader and coach… It's not the group of players, Coach Maurice, it's you.

  3. The reason people are suddenly favoring the Oilers is because they made up their entire deficit in the series IN ONE GAME, it almost doesn't matter that Florida's up 3-1. Florida needs to play as desperate as if they're down 1-3 tonight.
