In a heartbeat. He was ranked in the top 5 at the beginning of the year

Absolutely
PhilyJ
I’d run to the podium to draft him at #18
MrAshleyMadison
Yeah, regardless of what they do at 2OA.
I believe they got to 18OA to position themselves on Brandsegg-Nygard and Hage as neither are likely to be available at 20. If Eiserman is there at 18, I would assume that both of those guys are gone.
AARM2000
Especially if we take Levshunov, it could make sense.
ButtFaceMurphy
He won’t be there at 18, but if he is… you take him.
Crafty_Bid_7440
100% his talent level at 18 would be a slam dunk
chitownguy2017
Yes in a second. I think hes gonna be a stud on a 2nd line
Sammydaws97
At 18 yes 100%
I think he is being ranked fairly accurately in the 10-15 range. He is also one of the youngest players in the draft and has committed to an excellent development program for next season.

I don’t expect him to fall past 14th to SJ. He’s really close friends with Celebrini and I think I heard rumors about SJ being interested
Girospec92
He shouldn’t fall to 18 I think he’s gotten such a bad rap for not so smart reasons. He tried so hard to break a record this year and likely didn’t show his full ability due to that over focus. I’m confident when he gets to the NHL/AHL he will play a bit more of a complete game. Likely not amazing on both ends but he will score!

I love the draft and draft talk, but for some reason, this year, I’m just ready for it
ConmanSpaceHero
He won’t drop this low
NorthSideTog
Hell yes.
GratefulMtnDad
Would I draft him at #18?
I would land a helicopter on top of the Sphere, drill a human sized hole on top, parachute to the podium and scribble out any name other than Cole’s on KFC’s draft card.
Hutch25
Yeah. Regardless if he fits the system or not, the kid can fucking shoot the puck.
I’m sure Richardson could train him to be good enough for our system even if he wouldn’t be an ideal player.
Although I really do not see any world where he drops past Detroit or San Jose at 14. Both those teams need that legit goalscorer really badly. But if he did, hell yeah.
