Edmonton took a 3-0 lead by the second before the Panthers started coming back. Matthew Tkachuk made it 3-1, with Evan Rodrigues making it 4-2 after 40. Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored 5 minutes into the third, but Connor McDavid ended with two goals and four points including an empty-netter to ice the game.

As Paul said (paraphrasing): “We were thinking about how we were going to win Game 7”. Don’t let any loss deter you, because it could be 3-2 Edmonton and that still wouldn’t be an excuse to not play a full game and win. Whatever the odds are either way.
