I get what you’re saying, but really it’s his agent the Hawks will be talking to try and determine their comfort level on Demidov only spending 1 more season in Russia. I wouldn’t read too much into Demidov’s thoughts on it as he likely really has no idea how it’ll play out.
That is the opposite of what Sean Shapiro reported on the CHGO podcast today that he will come over at the end of his contract and expect to play in NHL in March.
Prolly just doesn’t want mf Rotenberg to keep him in the juniors next year again in retaliation for not signing a new deal.
