  1. if hawks take demidov hes gonna resign in the khl. he doesnt want to work for that player molestor franchise.

  2. Just the pic of demidov next to levshunov clearly shows ivan is not 5'10 he looks 6'1 at least so that confirms he is descent size

  3. all you need to know about Demidov is he has huge upside. Best hands in the draft. He has ELITE skills. Levshunov has no elite skills. He is just right handed.

  4. How is this new news, or a change in stock? He’s been projected to go 2nd or 3rd for as long as I can remember.

  5. No one mentioned Anton Silaev in regards with Russian complications cuz he’s not playing for the SKA , which is the Roman Rotenberg club and he’s the in charge of all the hockey in Russia. Both Michkov and Demidov are from the SKA. From the other hand Silaev is from province and owned by current Igor Larionov club Torpedo. Way more adequate person and the club.

  6. I hate how the Sens have the 7th overall pick since Demidov definitely won’t drop down there. He would absolutely be a game changer for that Sens team. Imagine him playing on Stu’s line 🤤

  7. As a Hawks fan I'm far more terrified of passing on Demidov than I am Levshunov. I think Levshunov can become an all-star defenseman, but I think Demidov has the potential to be truly elite,

  8. Being on a KHL roster isn't always a good thing. The better teams often give rookies almost no ice time and it turns into basically a lost year of development.

  9. I was always hoping for demidov for the hawks but lev I was fine with now I’m hype and want the hawks to pull the trigger and take demidov no doubt

  10. You started off with a quote by Cam Robinson saying that Demidov "WILL" be signed and "IN NHL NHL BY NEXT SPRING". He then goes on to say he "SHOULD be ready to cross over by the end of the NHL regular season". It is specifically described as loud buzz for a reason IMO.

Meanwhile you yourself mention Michkov using words like "Could"…. "IF"…. "Probably", and then adding "Might" with Demidov. Smh.

Russian prospects are different than any players, from any other country. With NA players or Euro players, if they are good enough, and get signed, then the percentages say they'll definitely play in America or Canada at some pro level.

As for Russians, there are always concerns of their game transitioning to the NA game, as well as the Russian government hoarding their players and not wanting them to go to the NHL. Basically there are always risks with Russians for a reason, because there have been problems with them in the past. Like most Russian prospects, there are no guarantees. Until someone has an actual ELC, and is 100% in America/Canada and playing, there are no promises that cannot be undone, especially with how Russia doesn't honor NHL contracts these days. It is all just rumors and best guesses these days. Quit stirring the pot when nothing is set in stone.

Everyone needs to get on the same page about which exaggerations to stick to. 😂

  11. I highly doubt Kyle Davidson is going to overthink this. He's got one cornerstone, and now another is falling in his lap. It'd be one thing if Levshunov was in the mold of Cale Makar, but that's not what we're talking about with him. The Hawks already said they're looking for major upgrades this off-season, so the likelihood of getting another bite at the apple might be over.

  12. I thought Michkov has a contract that keeps him in Russia until the 2025-2026 season so that’s why that was a big deal, Demidov doesn’t have that issue
