Corey Pronman is insane and mock drafted all 7 rounds (The Athletic)

The Wild selections:
13. Zayne Parekh (D, Saginaw)
45. Luca Marelli (D, Oshawa)
110. Matvey Babenko (RW, Ufa Jr., Russia)
140. Chase Pietila (D, Michigan Tech)
142. Nathan Mayes (D, Spokane)
174. Gabrial Frasca (C, Kingston)

Having just read some stuff on Parekh and knowing what the Wild highly value (hockey sense) – I'm not sure about this one. He apparently has it in spades offensively, but his defense sounds, um, adventuresome. (Triple edit: it really sounds like my initial take is way off and if Parekh is available here the Wild would be idiots not to take him.)

Eiserman went 19th to the Knights in this mock.

Edit: based on further pieces I've read, Scott Wheeler would think it madness if Parekh fell this far.

Edit again: Craig Button had him go 2nd (!) overall in his mock.

I’d be worried taking “offensive defensemen” after Addison busted hard.  You know, a defensemen is kinda supposed to…defend people.

There are plenty of good players still available even if some of the best defenseman are taken.  Catton, Helenius, and Eiserman look like fallers, MBN, Sennecke, and Greentree sound like solid power forwards the Wild lack, and Solberg is just Mr. Smashface.

I think there’s options to be had regardless of what ends up being BPA. The team has a lot of holes to shore up.

Was pissed when Edstrom fell to them last year. Would be even more pissed if they get Eiserman.
