When we got the news about Willie Mays' passing I truly believed that the Mets were going to come back in this game.
Just when I thought I was done with the Mets this year, they pull me back in! Unbelievable.
What is going on in the 50+ years I've been watching baseball? I have never seen a World Series team who was firing on all cylinders go completely south. There is absolutely nothing good to talk about the Texas Rangers. They are vastly becoming the LAUGHING stock of the MLB!

Not that the Mets are playoff material here but when Alvarez went down with the injury I was like here we go again with the injury bug to top players. They missed his bat and his presence. He's also become a leader. They've been a new team since his return. Still won't be getting serious until after the all star break and they're in the thick of it. But as of now it's just nice to see them win games like this.
