  1. Maurice won’t get his 1st title neither tomorrow night nor Monday. Panthers will be just like 2011 Vancouver against Boston

  2. They lost belief. The only way they can get it back is score first, keep that lead for a long time, and extend that lead later. Until that happens, Edmonton has the cup locked up bc they have all the belief.

  3. After the 5 periods of bad play, we found our game midway through the 2nd.. If we continue playing like that we can close this out game 6.

  4. I thought the panthers would do it game 5 but now I think the Oil wins game 6 and we are headed for game 7 and if we do see a game 7 i would want #97 on my team.

  5. That’s why hockey is a beautiful game you never know what will happen
Enjoy every moment of this final and may the best team win
    Imo it’s the panthers
Less luck more hard work as a team

  6. I like the switch from Montour to Ek on the PP.
Ek has been a scorer in his career and he just had his best game.
Montour has been making too many stupid mistakes and getting caught out of position.

And I’ve been screaming to get Okposo out and get Cousins in for 3 games now.
    Good call there too.

Okposo looks a step slow to me and every time he’s on the ice, I expect him to end up in the box.

If we take away the stupid shorties (Ek will help with that), stay out of the box, and keep their 3rd line quiet, we will win.

McDavid will get his regardless, and I think Draisaitl is playing with an injury.
But we have to keep Holloway, Janmark, Henrique, Brown, and McLeod relatively quiet to win this series.
Essentially we need our 3rd and 4th lines to outplay theirs, and I think Lomberg and Cousins on that 4th line will help with that (Okposo and Lorentz haven’t gotten it done).

    Good moves, Coach.
But if we lose game 6, I want some growl from you in the media… the zen bullshit is great when you’re winning, and I get it.

But if it goes to game 7, a message must be sent to the boys and not just in the room behind closed doors (see your bench assault vs Toronto) or they could potentially be the greatest choke job in sports history.

The only thing to be “learned” from that is that no one will want to play in Florida regardless of how nice the practice facility is.

  7. Seems to me, whether its art, music, or sports, people play best when they are not thinking too much, and just doing it naturally. I think the Panthers are thinking too much in the last two games.

  8. No room for error. The Panthers need to play with maximum intensity and tenacity tomorrow. Capitalize on power plays, protect Bobrovsky, win face offs, keep up the hits on the Oilers, put lots of pressure on McDavid, and keep putting the puck in the net. LETS GO PANTHERS!!!!

  9. Sounds like the team had the jitters for a few days not knowing how to handle being up 3-0, now they’re settled down and know what they have to do.
Panthers in six. This one is over

  10. They need to play 3 periods a 110%, disturb the goaly, and hit Mc David all the time to slow him down. Hope that the referees will not keep helping the Oilers!
