So we did learn something. I figured that an obvious target was a veteran LHD3 for free agency but then Don stated he wanted to get another bottom 6 forward. Does that mean Tex is out?

A couple days ago there was some Montreal press posted about how Hartley hated the way the Jackets were constructed and he was happy in retirement and wouldn’t dream of leaving and wanted nothing to do with returning to coaching
He’s personally reached out to Waddell about the job

It looks like a shitty P2 broadcast ENG from like 2005.

I like Waddell (Wadds?). He seems pretty no-nonsense, but definitely a guy who has a plan and is making moves. Holy hell, some of the questions that get asked are friggin’ inane. Not a new complaint about sports reporting in general, but these guys have get special training to hide their eye-rolls, I’m sure
