  1. Toss in Cole Caulfield, and you've got a trade. Sorry. No way. Why not a trade with San Jose? It just gets to much.

  2. I love your 10-12 minute videos.
Lots of information in a 12-minute time slot
.. I like this video with a Brown uniforms the brown shorts I hope Utah goes Brown …. I'm tired of seeing blue red and black

  3. MTL should avoid Laine period. He hasn't played a full season since 2018-19 and the Habs already have Price's contract to deal with for 2 more years. Why would they want to risk adding Laine's heavy contract to the problem?

  4. I see that as an absolute steal for the habs, I could see dvo for laine + the draft spots swaps, and even then im not sure columbus is happy with it. Maybe a bundle including dvo/mitch stephens as a center going the other way, + a prospect for laine. Dvo makes too much to make it a true cap dump if we send him the other way, but mitch stephens could step up as a 4C and fill in during the transitional phase, i liked what i saw from him last year. Then lets send a solid, promising young defenseman like barron/struble. I think that is closer to what both teams would want.

    to MTL:
    Patrick Laine
    4th overall pick 2024

    to COL:
    Dvorak/Mitch Stephens
    Justin Barron/Jayden Struble
    5th overal pick 2024

  5. Go one step further.

#5 pick and Anderson for #4 Pick and Laine, no salary retained on either side

  6. 4:27 You have to be insane to believe Columbus would do that trade instead of retaining 50% and get substantial assets for Laine…

  7. So Laine and 4th for 5th Dvo and picks. That’s not happening. Matheson 1 prospects 5th and Harris might do it

  8. Some random person would say "Habs are trading for crosby" and you'd make a video on it. Lol like chill out dude. And it'll be a single tweet and you'd make a 10 min long video on it lol

  9. Why do you keep talking about this trash idea?

Basou is one of the dumbest “insiders” out there.

Habs are free from DVO’s contract after this season why go get a player at 2x the cost on the cap ?

Why would Colombus move back if they want the same player the Habs do in the draft.

Habs should just take Iginla and call the draft a Trump sized HUGE W

Chicago, Utah, Seattle could all trade for Laine if they want.

I don’t want Laine in the Habs locker room, they have a good thing going, don’t need a project on the roster.

Rather sign a Taffoli, Monahan back on the wing on the second line and trade DVO for another young asset

  10. So, isn't this worse than giving him away for free? They lose the player AND get a worse draft pick? Wouldn't it be better if they simply gave him away. This way they would satisfy the first part, losing the player. But they would keep the pick. I'm struggling to see how this isn't a joke? Laine contract isn't that bad, not for a non competitive team, at least.

  11. Laine would be good in Pens. Put him next to Crosby and he'll do 50 goals. And he might boost Puljujarvi to his potential. It's quite low risk for Pens at worst he will be top 5 in teams points.

  12. No no no no no that would make Hughes a sucker. He is not a sucker. Taking on 8.7 mil , just to draft 4th, that's insane. I don't want the Russian, it's way to risky. There is a chance Putin may shut down the players leaving Russia. Go for size and skill. At 5 the Habs will get Lindstrom. Sennecke or Iganla. . It is nuts to take a 8.7 mil chance Laine , is his head together. Not to mention what kind of shape is this guy in. I offer Columbus, Gallagher and a third rounder. Hey they are saving almost 3 mil in cap space. They get a player that gives 100% every night.

  13. If the Jackets give up Laine and the four to move back one spot, I’m out. Fire the entire FO, I don’t care. That’s a HORRIBLE idea.
