  1. The guy was probably exhausted by games 8 or 9 this is a good move i think, security a a reasonable price tag

  2. Neds right they were very good for a major part of the season its too bad they couldn't get more goal support early on

  3. Would like to see the pens bring in a physical stay at home d man to help clear the puck. I also like chandler stephanson but have lots of holes not sure how big a free agent we can grab.

  4. Well, this gives the Pens some stabilityand they may try to run the goalie tandem back again this coming season, but honestly Jarry is DEFINITELY not the Stanley Cup winning goalie here in Pittsburgh that we need. Jarry is not consistent enough, and maybe on another team with a better defense he MIGHT succeed – hut NOT here.I am hopeful that Dubas may be able to orchestrate a beneficial trade, but in reality Jarry cannot do the job and is a waste of that kind of money. I'm kinda frustrated with the Penguins and the Steelers ( Jarry situation and the Kenny Pickett/QB/Offensive Coordinator fiasco) and I'm hoping that both Pittsburgh teams can get back to basics and give us fans some competitive enjoyable games to watch.

  5. Yeah, it’s $8 mil for the Jarry-Ned duo. But if Pens let Ned test FA on July 1, wouldn’t they need to sign another goalie? Chances are pretty good, IMO, that AAV would still be around $2-3 mil. So it’s a wash. Ned wants to stay and team likes him. What’s the harm? I also think he is ready to keep proving wrong naysayers like you.

  6. Solid price tag and he proved himself last season the pens are nowhere near a playoff spot without him and almost did with him.! Bloomqvuist is the future star in my opinion tho and for absolute certain this should be Jarrys last chance if he’s not that good going through the mid way point of this season then I’d say it’s time to pull the plug with him tho

  7. I love all the clown Penguin podcasters who acted like Ned leaving was a foregone conclusion. It was obvious to me they needed to resign him (rare sharp move by Dubas) I also predicted they'd shop Jarry (yet to be seen) as he's an immature loser who quit on this team last season
