  1. All the people saying draft him anyway have never dealt with disc issues. Hard pass. So many other great players available.

  2. I am not saying it’s not the Canadiens spreading rumours about Demido. But I just don’t see Gorton or Hughes relying on that kind of tactics.

  3. A source close to the situation has told me that a trade is in the works with New Jersey and close to done. Matheson, Armia, and 26th pick for Holz, and 10th overall pick. You heard it hear first

  4. This reminds me of 1983 when there were rumors about Dan Marino was using pot. The general feeling was that Don Shula of the Dolphins was spreading those rumors. We all know who drafted Marino. Shula was not an honorable man. Kent Hughes is a very honorable man.

  5. People are kinda talking like Tij is a consolation prize… Elite shot, elite production, elite compete and habits, well above average skating, hands, playmaking… i’ve heard “he’s kinda small”… he’s 6’0, 191 lbs, could probably play at around 200, def not small. Based on how much he’s grown as a player in the last year, his pedigree, his personality, i think this kid is a SLAM DUNK at 5

  6. I have had that disc herniation with sciatica , on the pain scale it"s a 10 , but i'm not a pro hockey player , still risky , he could miss games in the future , cross everything also your eyes 🙏

  7. I wanted Lindstrom from the beginning over Demidov.
But the back injury worries me.
He might feel great NOW, but he has not played in a while.

  8. What the HABS need is a top 6 player , which they won't want to trade for , too expensive , next best and only option is to trade 5 and 26 plus a prospect ( Struble) to Chicago for 2 DEMIDOV .

  9. I find it more comical that anyone would listen to Firedman who just creates drama rumors to get views/hits.

  10. Actually a back dr spoke on this and youb need to listen to the the expert which is a back dr. So i think i ll listen to the expert not reporters or podcasters ty. Go to mondays rcket sports episode .

  11. Herniated disk at 18 years old is a concern since it will get worse with
time. Hockey has a lot of twisting
and turning which is hard on a lower back.

  12. The nasty rumours about Demidov reminds me how the Baltimore Ravens got Lamar Jackson. I read that they started leaking some really bad cout reports about him to see his stocks go down. Is it true? Who knows. But that's funny.

  13. Freidman wearing pink suits should not be taken seriously, he just wants his name out there no matter what garbage comes out of his big speculating mouth !

  14. Tij is 6 months younger and will have an extra full season to develop while Lindstrom recovers to 100%. Tij has the foundation to become the hockey player he could possibly be in his prime. Iggy is a play driving goal scorer. Is 6f 185lb at 17. He probably won’t make an impact until he’s fully developed but neither will Lindstrom. Lindstrom has the physicality now and needs to develop the speed he processes the game, Iginla has natural offensive instinct who hasn’t filled up his body. Lindstrom played multiple sports while growing up while Iggy was literally born to play in the nhl. Our coach has a background in developing young hockey talents.. Marty and Iggy are ideal for each other. Meanwhile our fans are mesmerized by size. At the time of this post, we currently have a 6’3+ forward on each projected lines and 4 6’3+ defencemen in our pairings/prospect pool plus Matheson at 6’2. We can ice 2-3 big guys at all times if everyone’s healthy. Size is not the primary need of this team so why risk the pick. Draft Iginla and focus on a proper development that the management and training staff is hired for instead of praying for injuries to fully disappear from a player that is projected high for his physical assets.

  15. I honestly hope they trade back with Calgary. 5 for 9 and 26. Calgary takes Iginla and Montreal gets a great player at 9 (Sennecke, Lindstrom, Catton, Eiserman, Buium, Dickinson, etc). Then use the two late firsts to move into the teens and get another gem.
