Matthew Tkachuk, Sam Reinhart: Florida Panthers in Edmonton, Stanley Cup Final Game 6 vs. Oilers

The Panthers are coming off a 5-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers in Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final in Sunrise on Tuesday night.

Florida has dropped the past two games but remain a win away from the Stanley Cup and holds a 3-2 lead in the best-of-7 series.

Game 6 of the Cup Final is Friday at 8 p.m. (ABC) in Edmonton.

Edmonton took a 3-0 lead by the second before the Panthers started coming back. Matthew Tkachuk made it 3-1, with Evan Rodrigues making it 4-2 after 40. Oliver Ekman-Larsson scored 5 minutes into the third, but Connor McDavid ended with two goals and four points including an empty-netter to ice the game.

    Everybody is doubting you again Panthers. They all think game 6 is a lock for the Oilers. Rise to the occasion and forever be team that lifted the cup in Edmonton for the first time that WASNT the Oilers!

    STUDY SKINNER!!!! STUDY MCDAVID AND BROWN!!! Edmonton studied Bob and Barkov and that's how they got to them! You're the Panthers, you can adapt to anyone!! Tighten up that D and get more chances, you got past the best goalies and defenses in the east, you can do it in the west!!!

    Dryseitl should be suspended for elbowing Barkov, I really can't understand the officiating this series. Looks like Barkov plays with concussion

    Panthers need to play "smash the man with the puck" when McDavid touches it… n lay some Scott Stevens style checks on him till he pees himself when the punk comes his way… NO MERCY

    Tkachuk says they knew it wasn't going to end in 4? So why were the families flown? Why didn't they just take the loss and avoid the flights? Odd thing to say.
