  1. The fit for Washington is that Dubois has the skill set and potential to be Washington's top center. Tom Wilson is not a center. Second, Dubois would have been Washington's fourth highest scoring player last year.

    It's a big gamble but if Dubois finds a way back to the 60-point player he was with Winnipeg, that's a huge lift for Washington. And for the cost of an overpaid backup.
