Linus Ullmark Trade Rumors

trading lenan allmark is something every Bruins fan can’t stop talking about right now because most of us feel San is the new number one he will be signed and the Bruins will move on from all Mark me personally I hope we haven’t seen the last of the goalie hug but it sure looks that way in an article by Ty Anderson today from 98.5 The Sports Hub link will be in the description at management breakup dat Sweeney was quoted in saying those things will take care of themselves when discussing the uncertain future of allar amid Trey rumors and and a massive payday awaiting restricted free agent goenda no conversation I’m going to have with a player in terms of what I’m trying to do until we have a conversation is really going to go be public I hope you all respect that because ultimately that as a player a former player I would hope would happen we’re going to find a landing spot with San and if we can make the math work we’re going to have the best tandem if we can’t we’re going to explore options and for lenus he may come to us and change his mind that may occur as well right now we’re very happy to have sign lenus and in a perfect world we would keep the tandem because I think it’s a damn good but we’re going to explore opportunities my phone’s going to ring I’m going to make calls that’s just what the job requires in a previous video I mentioned the Bruins had a trade in place with the Los Angeles Kings but allmar used his no trade clause to not go to La what was in return for allmark was never reported so anything I say now will be speculation we know the Bruins were looking for help with scoring down the middle but nothing said says the return wasn’t a bunch of picks and we’ll never know Tai mentions two possible Landing spots for allmark Carolina and Ottawa in addition to LA with Carolina Elliot Freeman mentioned on 32 thoughts the podcast that Carolina had been interested in allmar at the trade deadline after the second round loss I don’t see that changing you would think that a team that already has Anderson and that and kochenov waiting in the wings wouldn’t be looking for a goalie but Anderson struggled at times in the playoffs and has had a history of not making that save when you needed in the playoffs I’m not saying Mark had a better record but he’s won of EZ and has bailed his teammates many games omark’s salary of 5 million also makes it easier to move as it’s not a lot against the cap Anderson only has one year left on his deal at 3.4 million and it would be an upgrade between the pipes for many teams Carolina could quickly bring in allar and move out Anderson with very little cap applications the rumored return would be one of the fastest skaters in the league Martin NES n’s dad spoke to a reporter and expressed his son interest in leaving Carolina which could force the new GM Eric tulsky to accommodate him NES is looking for a new deal after getting 53 points in 77 games 27 which were goals the Bruins would love that the Bruins need scoring and his speed wouldn’t hurt them either NES played with NES played wing for Carolina but as reported by Tai can play center and would like to if the Bruins could acquire NES and sign him to a new deal it might be an easy fit for him as fellow countrymen David Pastak and Pavo zacha already play on the team Carolina has cap issues they need to look at this this offseason with 26 million in projected cap space they have to still side Terra vinan possibly Jake gutel definitely Seth Jarvis and Brent pesy just to name a few this trade might even help them keep one of those players and upgrade in the net the other team was Ottawa and while the rumored return sounds too good to be true I don’t feel it fits the need that Bruins have I’ve said it before the Bruins need scoring and help down the middle according to Bruce gck stalos and the club’s hockey operations Department are expected to make another pitch before draft set on June 28th 29th in Las Vegas senator’s Insider Bruce gck wrote last week the Senators Los Angeles Kings and the New Jersey Devils were all among several teams that had made a push for the 30-year-old allmark before the deadline according to the article a league executive said Thursday he believes the Senators would likely have to offer defenseman Jacob chitron along with a first round pick and another selection to acquire alark Gary oaro even then allar has the hammer because he has his modified no trade clause his points out allar might not want to wave his no trade to go to Ottawa and I even think the Bruins might not want to trade him to a team in their division allar was quoted as saying it’s very hard when he was talking about his no trade and waving it for another team I mean like I said we don’t really have all these luxuries to really tell like I don’t want to be at a certain area and then there might be other things as well throughout your career that let’s say for example you have one team that would be on the west coast that is really really bad and then you have another on your trade list but then all of a sudden maybe 3 years later they’re not bad they might be a contender you can just look at emont or whatever it looks at those teams that might be really bad but now are really good you might want to wave at that point but you can’t really think about it you know in advance like how are these teams going to be in there for 4 years you can’t really look into the little crystal ball in the future and say hey this is what it’s going to be I’m going to go there and whatever because it might go to as well like honestly at this point I totally feel bad for allar because he’s just got to be getting hammered by reporters the good news is it’s the off season the bad news is he’s a Haw commodity now most networks right now are putting him in the top five of the best players to acquire right now for a trade now don’t get me wrong CH wouldn’t be a bad thing on the left side along lyol and lowai but I think their biggest need is at Center and scoring after watching this year’s playoffs if I could choose between the two rumor deals I’d take NES from Carolina in a heartbeat he solves so many things scoring could possibly play center imagine him on the line with pav Zach and Pac honestly like that’s the deal I would do thank you for watching and please let me know in the comments which deal you prefer or if you have another one that’s not even been mentioned let me know if you like this video please consider dropping a like and subscribing see you next time

  1. The Rumor was L.A. we don't know for a fact that it was L.A. the details on blocked trades are never made official. All we know for sure is that UIlmark blocked a trade. Kevin Weekes reported it was because of geography but no one else reported that. The speculation was L.A. so those two things seemed to jive. But it makes no sense to me. I think it was much more likely Edmonton. Either way we do know for sure Ullmark has 15 out of 32 he can block and we know he will do that if he doesn't like the destination for whatever reason. He's done it before.
So realistically Ottawa is probably out. The vast majority of players who aren't already in Canada block all the Canadian teams. And if you believe he blocked L.A. it'd be likely he'd have the entire pacific blocked for the same reason.
It'd be hard to believe that he'd block Carolina or say New Jersey who was also in the hunt for a goalie. But Carolina doesn't have many interesting players under contract with term currently. So they don't have much to offer of interest. I don't like the Necas proposed deals I've seen. They virtually all have Boston including sweeteners for the rights to Necas (he's an RFA who's not under contract). So then you have to negotiate terms with him too and all the reports are Carolina wants to move on because he's looking to be earning like 8m. I'm not doing 8m for a guy who's probably going to play wing on our team. Not without resolving the center issue first. Supposedly the sticking point of New Jersey not getting the Markstrom deal done at the deadline was they weren't willing to include Mercer in the package. If that stance soften Mercer is an interesting young center. I could see Boston doing that deal. Depending on what the sweeteners were. If you could pickup Mercer in trade, and maybe sign Roslovic as a UFA, and have Poitras come in after an off season working with the big club. I think the competition for center could be interesting and if any one of those guys can make a step up and seize the 1c role you'd certainly be happy with it and it'd likely be pretty cheap. If not you can shift some of them to wing, or trade them off potentially towards that 1c. That sort of series of moves to me makes more sense.

  2. Respect both goalies as a bonus dual in the modern NHL where goalies go down to quickly to injury . A new cap is much needed throughout the NHL as players that are loved of a team must move out because of the salary cap issues. Nechc is a better choice if it comes to that.

  3. My brain says it would be a brilliant move to obtain Necas from Carolina. My heart wants the Ullmark/Swayman duo to never be separated.

  4. I think with Ullmark's NMC he will block the likely trade destinations. (LA, EDM, CAR, OTT, etc.)

It might take a 3-team trade with a team that has a goalie but, is looking for a slight upgrade for whatever reason where Ullmark goes to Team A, and Team A's goalie goes to Team B with Team B giving up the assets to the Bruins.

  5. If I was in Boston’s shoes,I certainly would entertain the thought of trading Ulmark for defensive depth at next seasons trade deadline. But not before.Boston needs defense, not more scoring,If they concentrated on defense, the so called scoring issue would cure itself.

  6. I know someone of this trade that was proposed.. I played the game and I know people that still do so what happened was he was going to go to Edmonton for Drysdale.. the Bruins actually could have got more from Edmonton! La was begging us also the Colorado Avalanche, Ottawa & Carolina but you don't trade you a great goalie like that to two teams that could block you from going to Stanley Cup he will be traded to the West Coast I know for a fact he's going to Edmonton or Avalanche. my sources which is very very good told me that he blocked the trade and it was a selfish move because we could have got Drysdale and a first-round pick and possibly a veteran defenseman… but that puts a 50 plus goal scorer on the Boston Bruins I think he's too old so I asked my source again and they were targeting some of Colorado's best players, call Linus! let me find out more and I'll post on here. my source is a 100% the best!

  7. I don’t want Linus to go anywhere !
But I know it’s a business , and the cap space this coming season would be great when we need it most .
