Aww, Ty. I don’t think he was ever going to really get where we needed him to be on the ice, but it’s undeniable that he was a hard worker and the heart and soul of the room. He will be missed. I hope he flourishes in San Jose.

I was exploring this year’s draft and there are 2 Finnish kids with familiar surnames for Stars fans: Konsta Helenius and Julius Miettinen.
We pick 29th but this draft seems like a total mixed bag crapshoot beyond the top 5, over about 19 draft predictions I have seen on elite prospects there was almost no consensus. In fact the only player picked twice at 29th was Michael Hage.
I am keen for us to add to the Finnish mafia though as they have been super for us.
Anyone else have any thoughts on the draft?

I remember TD10 being an absolute prick on the ice when he got called up to the show. Am I totally misremembering that? The dude seemed like he was going to be the perfect grinder. Like the forward version of Stephen Johns

Two years in a row the Stars play an incredibly mid goalie in the conference final, but can’t shoot for shit and give the goalie allllllll the confidence to lock it down and (probably) win a cup. I really hope this isn’t a continuing Corey Perry-esque tradition.

Anybody seen Inside Out 2? Big hockey plot, and team Riley plays for at the beginning wears green (though not Stars green).
I liked it, though not as much as the first movie. But I thought Anxiety was a pretty great (and accurate) addition to the cast.
In another 9 years, I’m guessing we’ll have Inside Out 3, where Riley lets anger take over and pursues a career as a goon in the PWHL.
